Hi there, might be a silly question but I have the opportunity to lease a Niro EV Wind (10k/36mo) w/ $2k due at signing, 68% RV, and $385 mo (tax included @ 9.5%) OR $2k due at signing, 77% RV, and $345 mo (tax included). Regardless of whether I intend to buy the vehicle at the end or not (I could buy and sell it), what is the better lease deal? Thank you!

The residual shouldn't change based on how much (or little) you put down. I'd ask the dealer why the values are different.

Question is, do I take the risk of paying an extra $1,440 over 36 months for the 68% RV or pay less monthly with the 77% RV. The difference in RVs is $3,735. Does that make sense?

Today I was able to get a Niro EV Wind quote from a dealer using Kia Motors Finance

Generally, the RV is a whole percentage of the MSRP - bottom line number of the factory window sticker.

To our knowledge, KMF doesn't offer a 24 month term on the Niro EV; are you sure this wasn't from another bank?
