I haven't leased a car in a while. If the sales rep is trying to use .00190 and 51% on this should I just tell him he's overcharging me or could it vary slightly by dealer?

If you have top tier credit, he is marking up the MF for extra profit, though .00010 seems like a small amount (most dealers mark up the MF the full .00040 allowed by the bank)

Shopping a local dealer (Illinois) for two x5s that are on the lot: 40i and 50. Any opinions on these numbers? I've been leasing BMW for 20+ years. I know interest rates are high, but these payments seem very high.

The accessories are negating the paltry discount you're getting from sticker.

That, plus all the up front taxes, are inflating the payment.

Negotiate harder, or find a different dealer to see if you can do better.

Is the money factor you are sending the money factor that we should be paying. I had a dealer let me know that the 0.00180 was the buy rate, but not the rate that I would necessarily get.

Push for the base rate; shop multiple dealers if you have to.

The lease credit is a factory to customer incentive, applied like a down payment.

You can structure the lease, and the up front monies, any way you'd like. I like to only pay the first payment and any government taxes at signing, and roll any other fees and taxes into the monthly payment.

Greetings. So I am looking at potentially leasing a 2024 50e. I believe it is a loaner. There is approximately 300 miles on the car. MSRP is 77,695, but they are discounting 3,195 so we are at 74,500.

1. Would leasing a "used" certified vehicle be acceptable? (sounds good to me)
2. If leasable, what does this do to the MF and the residual?
3. I am hearing on the forums never to pay full MSRP for a new car, can I work the MSRP down further even though it is considered a "used vehicle" ?

Any advice?

It is a shame that still with a commercial lease, BMW won't honor the $7,500 off and reduce the total Gross Cap Cost on the vehicle to lower the payments. Mazda was showing on their CX-90 PHEV money off the monthly payments as a lease deal for the end of 2023.
