The MF is marked up a whole lot. For top tier credit, the MF is .00285.

For the 450 and 53 SUV, there is $2500 in dealer cash, which should give you a bigger discount from sticker.

Do you know the selling price and/or adjusted cap cost?

$96,893 selling price (this is including ~1,400 of random dealer charges I can take off)

I'm in zip 02818. Dealer quoted a MF of .00315 for Tier 1 credit on a 2024 GLE450, 36/10 lease. As I have excellent credit, I was expecting a MF of .00285. What's the difference between Tier 1 and Tier A1 and who is eligible for Tier A1?

The difference is the credit score - we don't know the cutoff but A1 probably requires 750 or higher.

If that is the case, then the dealer is marking it up for extra profit.

A1 is weird credit tier. Sometimes, it seems they only use it for employees and VIPs. I don't think the credit score qualifications are any different for A1 or T1.

Tier T1 is .00315 MF

The money factor we quote is the base rate.

Mercedes has an MSD program. 10 MSDs X .00004 ea = .00040 reduction to the MF.

Lol…well I typically lease b/c I can get a cheaper payment than financing, but reading through some of the commentary above it seems like that may not necessarily be the case anymore. Or it’s just the market and would be better off on waiting for things to come down… Or are the dealerships getting desperate b/c rates are so high?

This is a pretty low volume, expensive SUV. It will probably never lease well.

However, the 48 month term is currently the best.
