Hi everyone. I’m trying to close today on an X3 with a $59,145 MSRP. I’m trying to lock down terms via email before heading back to the dealership and offered $54,450 with a .00210 MF (10k miles, 36-month lease). My thinking is that I should insist on the MF but be willing to move on the CC.

I’ve attached the response email. They’re saying that MF is only for returning customers and that they can’t go lower than $56k. Could anyone provide any insight? I don’t mind the CC aspect of this so much (though I’m disappointed I could never track down the invoice price), but I’m skeptical if the MF claim. (I know there’s a $2k incentive for returning BMW customers that I’m not eligible and wouldn’t ask for.)

No, they can give .00210 to anyone.. Believe me.. they also markup the rate for returning customers (or attempt to)

That said, I don't know the market, and if the offer is a fair one. It doesn't seem terrible. Seems you are unlikely to get more than 6% off MSRP before any incentives, though.
