One time, I traded in one a Fusion and forgot my sunglasses in the overhead bin. Didn;t have the keys anymore, so I used the keypad code to open the car and retrieve them.

I just did one. A few extra steps depending on how your photo library is set up. But start with the drop down of the landscape (far right icon) and hit choose files then photo library. At that point click on the pictures you want and they will have a blue checkmark. After that I just had to click on add and the code shows up in the message box. When you submit the picture loads.
Looks like the moonstone changes a lot with different light too. Sharp looking car and color. I’d like to see some interior shots. Hopefully it has plaid guts for the connoisseurs.
Went with the "SE" model as it had everything I wanted or needed. Those pics are exactly what I got. Haven't driven much having these last 3 days off but back to work tomorrow & Sunday. Will be lucky if I get to 3K miles in the coming year. Have a list of my mileage from 12/2/2019 when I started at Enterprise, starting at 63K and ending up at basically 80K on 7/2/25. So basically, 17K between those two dates. So, my yearly mileage went down dramatically once I got a part time gig closer to home.

Didn't like the new blue for 2025 and even though I did like the white pearl paint on the one I test drove around Memorial Day, just didn't like it enough to pull the trigger then. For what could possibly be my last automobile, think I made the right choice with the Moonstone Grey. Just need to get the windows tinted within the next few weeks, the same darkness I had before as even though it was his lightest shade, it kept enough heat out and was easy to see out of at night. Luckily though, we no longer drive much at night!

That gray will be easier to keep clean and shows dirt and scratches and dents less. You made a great choice and you got your HK stereo and more horsepower so you can grin when you step on it😆
I really like the gray on a GTI. That would be my pick.
Of course, I want a stick, so it would have to be a 2024. I'd have to try out the seats. My GTI has two piece with separate headrests, and the new ones are one-piece.

That reminds me of @breld GTI for some strange reason😎
Small victories. I went to a gas station to buy a bag of ice and went in leaving my cell phone and removable speaker in the 4Runner with the sunroof and back glass fully open. Everything was still there when I came out 😎
———————————————— Sounds like you took my advice and took your Doberman with you. Nice you took my advice about leaving a window open too. That is a fineable offense these days.

When I had my Datsun SPL311 roadster I used to take my Doberman with me with her leash wrapped around the parking brake. I could leave the car in a parking lot with the top down and be 100% sure that no one would mess with it

I have a little min-pin mix rescue dog who’s kinda shy around many other dogs, but is best buds with the two Dobermans at her doggy day care. Go figure.
Washed and waxed the cars this morning. Although there are aspects of my Toyota Crown that I am less than happy about and while I do see some tiny imperfections in the black paint on the hood I must say that the finish is the smoothest of any car I have owned. There is no discernible orange peel, possibly because it was built in Japan and their standards might be higher.

I love those. I remember back when they were new seeing one on the floor of the local Ford dealer (sadly I was probably there to look at an Escort GT or some such thing). Roped off though so didn't get to sit in it. at the time, maybe sticker was $100-150K?
if I hit the lotto that is one exotic I would consider splurging on.
a replica like this one would of course be a lot more affordable. This one is pretty neat. But this really needs AC to be usable, since they tend to get hot in the cabin from the engine, and there is only a little vent in the window for fresh air. Not fun in the summer!
to finish off the trip to fantasy land, I love this. Not as exotic but at least I would not be afraid to drive it (and nothing to do with value). Plus my wife could actually get in one of these. More my style for sure. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-acura-nsx-t-13/
wife actually initiated discussion about replacing her car today while we were driving on the highway, off to the outlets to spend more money buying stuff we don't need.
pointed out a Mini Countryman because it was a nice color, and unprovoked she said that with my truck to haul anything bulky and take on trips, her car could be smaller and it would be fine. Just wondered how low the Mini rode. That led to a discussion about an EV, and how for our 2nd car that primarily stays local, it could make a lot of sense. Need to leverage this into a few casual dealership stops when we happen to be driving by!
Minis apparently don’t ride very well and are kind of dorky-looking in Countryman trim. I suspect when the rubber meets the road she might start singing a different tune…

Pretty sure Sandy got an SE. A GTI has to have plaid seats

Depends on the lighting. If it’s dark out, yes. If it is light out, it looks light so no
Looks like configurator on VW.com shows titan black guts.
I could only see plaid on an S., but that was on a Raiti rides video. The configurator for the S shows titan black too.
Does that mean it loses its GTI card?
