For @Kirstie_H and any other Edmunds staffers dealing with the Vanilla software: for the last few days, this CCBA discussion (and AFAIK, only this discussion) does not take me to the first unread post when I click on my bookmark, but instead to the top of the last page of the discussion. This time it took me to the top of page32, which was/is an empty page.

I agree but when there is not a single pic of the underside, I’m guessing there ain’t much worth showing. And I noticed they were pretty careful when taking pics of the tires. Yess, I’ll stand pat on what I said about that truck.

When we were shopping Porsche dealers, we had a couple of good experiences at the dealers we didn't buy from. But, zero follow-up.

Didn't have to provide info, until we were offered a test-drive. At the first dealership, they gave us back-to-back test drives, one vehicle with 21" wheels and another with 20" wheels, for comparison. Then brought us to a desk to see the service loaners available, along with MSRP and asking prices.

At the 2nd dealership, we test drove another one. Looked over some units. New kid with no business card, but he took all of our info down.

3rd dealership in Louisville had better options/colors (thanks @mjfloyd1 !), so sent an inquiry on a couple of units on-line. The next day, one of the salespeople contacted me via e-mail, with extensive links and histories on both of them. Within a day, we had a deal, and picked it up the next day.

This started on a Saturday, then Tuesday. On Wednesday, contacted the third dealer, then picked up our car on Friday.

The two local dealerships? Neither one made any contact after our unsolicited visit. Not by phone or e-mail. Ever. :o

Glad it worked out. I was just throwing spit balls and that one stuck😂. That’s how it should work. Frustrating when you are serious and they don’t get back to you, but it seemed like the Louisville dealership had exactly what your wife was looking for.

I didn’t see a price on that ad.

If you want a truck that old, a coworker has decided to sell his 2005 Ford Ranger XLT. This was one I was anxious to buy a few years ago because he took it to Florida every winter (No rust) and at the time only had about 55k miles. I searched for two years for something comparable but finally bought the F-150.

I’m guessing it still has under 75k miles.

Ouch! At least the Chevy has the 4.3L V6 which is pretty reliable.

And yeah, the 75k miles was what I guessed was on my coworker’s Ranger.

Testing out the Genesis concierge service today. My wife's GV60 is due for some basic required maintenance, so we went on her app to schedule a pick up of the vehicle at our home.

As promised, a valet showed up this morning at 8:30 to bring her car back to the dealership for service and left a G70 as a loaner. They should be returning her car later this afternoon. Pretty slick so far.

The Porsche dealer offered that for our new car. Said my local dealer would do it, as well.

But, the dealer I bought it from would put 200 miles on it, going back and forth.

my son had that done with his Genesis since the dealer was a good 50 miles north. On the way back after the service the windshield took a rock hit. Because they had the car, the dealer had to take it back and replace it on their dime (insurance). I don't think he even came all the way down, just called to explain the situation and turned around and went back to the dealer. Nice thing about having a loaner. Not a big deal if they keep it longer.

I guess that means I've had the ZHP for 5 years.

It was titled in PA with 125,900 miles and now has 133,174 on it, so about 1,400 miles per year which is higher than I expected. No tires here, those were put on in 2021 I think.
