I negotiated a price on 2025 Prologue Touring Awd and would like to ask couple of questions please. I will really appreciate if someone can help.

MSRP: 56150
Sales Price: 47150
Rebates: 15,300 (7500 lease credit + 4500 captive lease offer + 3300 loyalty)
Residual: 45% for 36/10
MF: 0.00079
Zip Code: 90066 (Tax rate: 9.75)
Documentation Fee: 85
Acquisition: 595

When I enter all these in the Edmunds' car lease calculator, I get the following:
(please see the screenshot from Edmunds' calculator all the way the bottom for all the details, including taxes and fees)

0 down, 0 due at signing
Monthly payment (before taxes and fees): 228
Taxes and Fees: 110
Monthly payment (after taxes and fees): 338

My questions are:
1- Was I supposed to put 15300 rebate under 'cash incentives' or 'cap cost reduction'?
2- Is it normal to have 2492 in taxes?
3- Is this a good deal?

2. You pay taxes on the sum of the incentives, but that amount seems too big
3. Have you shopped around to see if you can get a better sales price? Remember, $5K of that discount is coming from Honda

That all said, we don't have any insight as to how the calculator works; it's owned by a different group at Edmunds.

Yes, you do pay taxes on customer facing incentives (this excludes the dealer cash).

Again, I don't know how the Edmunds lease calculator works. I use a homemade spreadsheet that does all the math myself.

Any CAP cost reductions (rebates, downpayments) are taxed upfront. Although, those amounts can be rolled into the CAP cost, increasing the monthly payment

Then, sales tax is applied to the monthly payment, and collected monthly.

Lumping all of your fees and taxes into one big monthly number is a way to obscure how the actual payment is calculated.
