Maybe that's why she was missing. ;^)

I've been away from the board because my work load has drastically increased lately... oh well. I'll survive :-)
I'm at 99250. At my usual driving rate, I'll be at 100K by the end of the month.
How about you?
Ken
-Frank
Sometimes I think maybe I should hold onto my Forester until 120K... after all, it runs great (knock-knock-knock on the wood), and it's very comfortable.
Continued best hopes & prayers your way.

There is still concern about brain damage as she is hesitent to obey commands, she was able to blink her eyes in response and we are hoping and praying that she is still much too weak to lift her legs or sqeeze hands, you can see the quad muscles tightening as she tries to move her legs so we are taking that as a positive sign.
She is pitiful to see she only weighs 85lbs as she been unable eat for nearly 3 weeks because of comlications from surgery to remove teeth.
We did not know any of this as she told us she was doing okay and coping, turns out she was concerned about my health as I have not been the best lately, she just did not want to worry us so she tried to do it on her own, and just got run clean into the ground.
She only weighs around 105LBS on a good day so she could not afford any weight loss to begin with
we are positive that God did not get her this far only to leave her brain damaged. I will post again when I can.
JimmyP I did send you an E-Mail late Sunday night to your home url, I hope you got it.
Cheers Pat.
My prayers for her speedy and full recovery, and strength for Rita and you..
I too think she would be too weak to move. The blinkings and muscles tightening are positive signs.
-Dave
At the risk of sounding stupid, am I correct in assuming that she was "allergic" to the medication which caused this in the first place? And if so, have they identified this allergy so that this will never happen again if she needs medication in the future?
Bob
Pat: I think those are good signs. Her brain is sending the right signals and her body will catch up soon, let's hope.

So they elected to try again tomorrow rather than take it out and have to incubate her again, that would have been catastophic to have to start the whole thing over again.
One postive thing when she was fully aware her neurological tests are looking much better she is responding to commands but the most heartwarming thing was, Rita was leaning over the bed telling her how much she was loved, Anne Marie put both arms around her Moms necked and hugged her tightly.
I am not ashamed to admit I did a bit of blubbering at that point.
well to bed, tomrrow morning early they try again.
Cheers Pat.
glad to hear about the progress. one day's delay is nothing, she's come so far so fast.

Got my kids at work with me today, nanny too. The whole kit and kaboodle.
What a flirt, my 22 month old is winking and blowing kisses to all the girls here! It's hilarious.

You're in the Bay area right? I'd like to go 20%, but I'm thinking I may go 35% just because of how much of the year is spent under the clouds around here (Seattle). My main concern is visibility at night and in the darkness of winter.
More comments welcome!
Thanks!
-Ian
I have 35% around, except front, and I find it fair keeping the sun out on a sunny day but better than without. Night visibility with street lights is alright, without or poor lighting is a challenge but that's me.
You should find a friend/work colleague with a similar design car with tints you're looking to get and see for yourself. Nothing like first eye visual.
-Dave
I should see if he'll let me drive it in the dark.
-Ian
Ian: The difference between 35% and 20% from the inside at night is small. I've found no problems driving with 20% at night. In fact, many metallic films do a good job at cutting headlight glare so it's easier on the eyes. The only time the tint got in the way is reversing into a dark driveway. But you could always roll down the window and stick your head out or open the door ajar.

We'll continue our prayers.

But get this! If you *buy* one, you get three years free service, an $800 value. Hey, service costs that much around here.
Ken was the first to order one, and did so after our impressions were shared, so it's yours buddy. E-mail me your mailing addy. If you haven't taken delivery yet, it sure looks transferable. In fact I bet anyone can get in on this, it seems like a national program for SoA.
Patti - any details on this? Can anyone qualify or do you need the mailer?
