btw there is an interesting thread in OT (you know where) where Jim/Fishguy and Nick explain that things have smoothed over between iclub and nasioc, yet they'll remain separated.
as a LONG time enthusiast I was glad to hear that.

I didn't feel comfortable doing so. I felt it was a Subaru Crew/SOA issue, and that they didn't need to be part of that discussion. I was hoping that juice and I would have been able to speak to Sam directly about it, so that we could have focused on that issue, but that opportunity did not present itself.
Bob
I noticed that Nick and Alex got along well even last year, January 2004, in Detroit. So I'm not surprised to hear that.
The SoA rep had very limited time, in fact he basically introduced us to the Product Planning folks and had to leave. He'd been there for a while, so we understood, but that's why we didn't have the chance to discuss Patti.
Sorry I missed the chat. My kids ambushed me as soon as I got home and there was no way I could get away from them to make the chat.
Off to the B9 threads!

It does not help that FIL did not leave any will or instructions and in fact nobody has any idea where he kept his substantial savings. His older son, my brother-in-law is an unemployed alcoholic... My husband went there for 2 weeks, to try to sort things out and see what can be done for his mom.
Work and kids keep me busy throughout the day but evenings are tough. I do enjoy visiting this board though. Thank you guys for being such a great crowd.
Hang in there!

Please do stick around, it's really nice to have the friends we have here.
Maybe some good news would cheer you up, just a little?
They mentioned the Ride-n-Drive for the Tribeca might happen near San Francisco. Well, if that's the case, we could meet up! I'd love to see all of you in person, you, Ken, and who else is in the area?
That would be a hoot.
If it really does happen there, I may even bring the wife this time. We both loved San Fran, had a ball there a few years back, before we had kids.

Cheers Pat.

Or get the F-XT that you've been drooling over. You'll get plenty of boost plus a big smile.

Jim
Sorry to hear your problems my long lost sister!
To add to that my new job sucks and I'm going nutz at it. Trying to find a new job somewhere back in IT/Tech Support, trading thing isn't working out for me.

spent the 'holiday' with teacher activities .... all the stuff you can't do the rest of the time ... got a mammogram (and they used a heating pad on the plate! ... not that you guys care ...) ... had our diamonds checked and cleaned (to keep up with the warranty) .. and had a tooth xrayed to make sure nothing 'big' happened when I was headbutted by a student )directly in the mouth) last Thursday ....
yeah .. fun day ...
Cheers Pat.
Brenda, sounds like you're doing better. Hope you'll be back at 100% soon.
Kate, we continue to pray for you.
Mike, best of luck on the job search. Be glad you have a job currently!
Jim
Brenda and Bob - hope you are both feeling better.
Mike- hang in there. Just think of something positive - racing season for you is only a few months away.
Hope everyone else is having a warm and quiet time.
Mark
It's dangerous to read this thread around lunch time.
Brenda: that was quick. I had figured it would take 6-8 months to clean that rock!
-juice
Juice, it would be great if you could make it to the San Francisco area. I could practice that little Portuguese that I know! I'm also dying to see Tribeca live.
paisan, hang in there. Good job will come soon, I can sense it.

Well, I hope for Juice's sake that the 1987 photo is of his wife, rather than an old flame.
Personally I think the dog looks cute.
Which reminds me that we once saw a breeder advertising Rottweilers and Chihuahuas - worried my wife that it might be a case of buying the big dog with it's own packed lunch.
Cheers

Here's mine: Happy Halloween Pats!
