I bought my Touring w/ R&N on 09/30 for $32,683, which I think is fantastic, but anything lower would have been unbelievable!
Good Luck!

I have been scrubbing internet for 6 mos. I thought for sure I would get the 08 model...kindof been holding out. I learned my color of choice Gold/Tan Leath Combon would not be avail in 08 model so I had to make a big decision on whether to get a distant 2nd choice 08 color yet gain some new features but take a step back with the new lame 08 rims, OR go for the 07 model with 1st color choice but no key MP3 player yet in my opinion cooler rims. I decided I wanted to open my garage each morning and love the color and rims, so I went for 07 model and I will just have to do w/o mp3. I also estimated I would save $3700 over the equivalent 08 model.
My next move is to buy accessories over the internet and hook myself up with 8ry/100K ext warranty ($1130 via bernardiwarranty.com).
Its been great hanging with you all good luck on your quest.
Sounds like a great deal.
I once got a car I loved everything about... EXCEPT the color. I had to live with that awful color for a few years.
Promised myself I wouldn't settle on color again. After spending thousands of $$$, get the color you LOVE!!
I started shopping online for a Touring RES/NAV a few days ago and so far, the best quote I've seen is;
O'Hare Honda Internet Price: $ 32419
(rebates and incentives included)
I'm still waiting for a few more offers to come, but I think this is the lowest price I've seen on this forum so far. Doubt I'll see anything better, but why not wait a few more days.
Thanks to all of you that participate in this forum to make it so informative!

Could you please e-mail the quote for received of the EX-l w/Nav & Res for $28,700.

How ridiculous. Chance that I'm going to pay a market adjustment? Zero.
2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L with RES.
Base sale price: $27426.06
Doc: 55
tax: 2267.19
lic: 179
registration: 64
cal tire fees: 8.75
OTD price: 30000.
I know somebody got better deal, but in SF bay area, it's hard.
I really, really wish Fitzgerald sold Honda's. That's about all I can say.
This is the best price I got so far.
Better luck to you all.
Note: I communicated with one of the Dealer in Chicagoland area for 3 days. I requested him LX with Numbus Grey Metallic color. We finalized the Deal for 22,700 bucks Out The Door price. Once everything is done. This Guy says he has no Odyssey with that color. When I called him and talked to him, he said "I can't help" and just hanged up on me.
Currently my local dealers (NCY) aren't blowing me away with prices, so I'll either wait it out and see if that changes at the end of the month, or buy an '08. There are still plenty of vehicles on the lot - one local dealer has been carrying over 120 Odysseys for the last two months. That's a big number to move by the end of the year.
I contacted one dealer in AL and he said that Base price for EX-L ODYSSEY is $26150.50 and total OTD is $27850.82.
In the OTD, there are some fees, like "antitheft insurance transfer" ($299) and "documentation fee" ($499).
I still don't understand that what these fees are for????
I believe that the total OTD is not bad, but I still feel I am being ripped off. Do you guys think that I should negotiate these fees and get more discount on the car?
"The price for the 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring with DVD would be $31,495 including destination. You would just have to add your taxes and license plates to this price. Your taxes would vary by what county you live in and your plates are $168 for new with registration and $105 to transfer them if you want. Finally, there is a $58.48 documentation fee."
Can anyone advice what my next step would be? I suppose there are some key questions to ask to ensure there are no hidden costs?
Can you please email me the price quote you received for $28700 on EXL-RN?
Thanks,
Pankaj

I try to negotiate the same deal. Could you send me your price quote from the dealer?
Thanks,
Thanks for your help.
They are going to try to sell you some high mileage (20-30 miles), or park somewhere for a long time (they looks very dirty) cars. Just say you are looking for new car, not used one. And mention price match will make the deal. I got good price quote from auto mall at Fremont, CA., but never went there since I can get it from the one close to me.
The difference per Honda website between a EX-L and a EX-L w/RES is 1600-and we got 1400 difference here--hmmm.
Base price - 21,460
Dealer installed options - 10
Doc Fee - 55
Sales Tax (IL) - 1,345
City Tax (Bloomington, IL)- 107
State License and Title - 143
TOTAL - 23,121 (Out the Door)
This is the best price i have seen from this city. One of my colleague did all the quote requests from all around chicago and got this price from bloomington, il. All I had to do is show my friends buyers order and got this price. He was reluctant to give at that price but after showing the proof of previous sale, he had no option.
If any of you want to get the same deal, let me know. I can give you details.
You should check closely to my last post You will see the name of........
Ask him to email you the confirmation OTD price .
Steventin
No discount on the accessories that I asked them to install (back up sensors, auto day/night mirror, 3rd row sunshade) - sales guy says he can't discount those. Does that sound right? Or is he just giving me a line?
I have not yet discussed a trade-in with him, so this is a straight-up quote with no other strings attached (and no other hidden fees).
Base Price (including destination) $24,625.
Back up sensors (in the box $598 - installed $761)
Auto Day/night mirror (in the box $288 - installed $360)
3rd Row Sunshade (in the box $215 - installed $287)
Total = $26,033
plus PA state tax of 6% = $1,562
tag and registration fees $147.65 (new tag - $30 less if transferring)
total = $27,742.65
According to the forums, there is also a 2% hold back (some post claimed 3%) for the dealer, beside the $2000 rebate.
I have traded in my 2005 EXL R&N with 31,000 miles. The first two Honda dealers only offered me 19,600 for my trade.
The third dealer only me for the same 2007 model for $5000 plus tax and tag ($113). I leave in the suburban of Philadelphia.
As for the add on, they lowered down to $475 (from $599)for the fog lights. I have yet decided whether I want it or not. :shades:
i am just looking for a quote i can take to my dealer and go from there.
please email me at sales@vsracing.net
