Can anyone tell me where to find this information?
I waited all summer for this truck and it was well worth the wait. I love this truck. True for a 4x4 it does get bad gas milage and gas is as high as it has ever been.
Keep in mind that I kept calling my salesman all the time and on the 13 of Aug I call and he said that it had been released from factory on sunday and on Monday he could not find out where the truck was enrouted to. That's because it was delivered to the dealership monday morning. I am the lucky one that lives in KC to have picked it up so soon after it was released from the factory.
The dealership I bought from had the exact truck I wanted on the lot, which was a solid Black Lariat, 5.4, 4X2, except it did not have the Graphite interior. So I wait.
The VOPC is a good tool to use, but I discovered it isn't 100% accurate. I was told a build date of 9-4 with estimated delivery of 9-18. The build date on the sticker was 8-30 and the dealership received shipment today 9-14.
Keep in touch with your dealer and use the VOPC while you are impatiently waiting for your truck!!

Thanks for the info. Kind of figured it was going to only be available to dealers, or the people here would be using it and posting about it.
Curious about dkmoyers post in #237 about the rear end change. Have to ask our dealer about that.
I don't know where you came up with 91 octane. That is not recommended and you could void your warranty. 87 Octane is recommended for the 5.4L engine. Make sure you read your owner's manual.

Thanks for letting us know about the right gas .
I seen the 91 octane on the blueovalnews.com,
back in response #8.
armrests do seem short. I was in an Expedition Sport model and would much rather opt for the larger center storage console that doubles as arm rest. MUCH more practical and you don't have to move the arm rests each time to buckle up.
Second, I am experiencing some not sure how to describe, hesitating while idling. Gotta make plans to have them look at that.
But I am just loving the truck as do all that spot it. And functional beyond belief with 5 in the family and much stuff to haul around!
I can't imagine beating this vehicle.

Making a splash at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association show in Las Vegas this past November was the "Scuba SuperCrew." Designed to show "how our versatile truck line-up can be personally customized to take on any kind of outdoor activity," according to Ford design guru J Mays, the black-with-yellow accent truck wears 17-inch TSW wheels and low-profile rubber in addition to trim items specifically designed to protect the body from the harsh marine environment. Inside, the yellow-on-black theme is used extensively in the neoprene seating surfaces. Most interesting though, is the truck's equipment list, including an on-board compressor, an inflatable boat, storage centers, and diving gear for two. Scuba SuperCrew not only shows the direction pickup trucks might take, but more importantly, proves that Ford is aggressively riding oncoming waves.
Chestnut Brown and Harvest Gold 2WD Lariat.
I'm almost 48 and this is my first ever Ford. I hope this works out.

I have searched this town inside out for available SC's. This was the ONLY chestnut. I read here that it had been discontinued. Thought I'd better get this one and not wait any longer. It had 98% of the options I wanted so I bought it yesterday. It has the two tone paint in Harvest gold. On the inside door panel, it appears to have a build date of July, 2000. Not sure if that's right or not.
This town is ate up with black, red and white trucks. Some blue and beige.
I really liked the chestnut color and noticed its rarity.
Anyway, this might be the last one.... After I had the keys in my hand I mentioned the discontinued color info to the salesman and he didn't know about it.
Does anyone know why it was discontinued?
The color offerings from Ford on the S-Crew are a little disappointing since they don't offer all the colors (or 2 tone combos) available on the regular F-150. I am a little envious I tried to get the same color ordered as you currently have when I ordered in June. Alas I could not. I really think it is the sharpest combo on that truck I have seen. Ended up with Deep Wedgewood Metallic Blue and Arizona Metallic Beige 2 tone with parchment interior which really looks sharp. I have not heard of any issues involving the Chestnut color.

Yes, Ford could have done a much better job on the colors, especially since it's such a hot ticket item. Oh well. Like George Carlon said "You can't have everything...where would you put it?"
However, when I saw the chestnut/gold SC, even I could tell it was special. I guess what helped is the fact I saw so many black and red trucks. The brown really stood out.

That would have been my second choice. Only problem with it is it reminded me of the color scheme an old gal pal of mine had for our bedroom when we co-habitated. But that's a whole nuther story.
Any other susp. mods?
Another item you may want to look at to complete the rear suspension is Roadmaster Active Suspension:
