    Exactly, the big air dam is the giveaway for the is model. In BMW-speak, it's an E30, about the same size as the new One Series but the badge sez "325is" and it is an '87.

    The one on the right is a 1959 Oldsmobile (I think I see the beginning of 'Ninety-Eight" on the side).

    Thats right Andy - its a German Ford Taunus 12M Coupe, (I think the model is the P6) which was sold circa 1966/70, and this one was registered - and indeed photographed - in Norway. Here's the back...image

    We missed a ferry, and consequently dinner at the hotel on the other side of the fjord, to get that photo...

    Yep not an early Boxer (365GTBB/4) but a later 512 BBi. The Boxer engines were FLAT 12s, not V12s. Took you guys a while to get that one. :P

    I think it's a 1968 Pontiac Catalina per the hubcaps and the chrome "beak." I think the 1969 model had an Endura nose.

    Sorry for the delay Andy, but what with the time difference and the fact that today at work was too hectic to even look at the site, I haven't had a chance to come back to you.

    Yes, they are Allards. The grey one is a P1, 1949/51, I believe. Ford 3.6 or 3.9 V8, and it was actually Allard's best selling model - about 550.

    The little red one is an Allard Clipper, they only made these for about ten months in 1954/5, and I gather only about 22 were made - this one is reckoned to be the only survivor in a complete state in the UK, so there aren't likely to be many more out there. Air-cooled Villiers two-stroke engine,346cc, 2-cyl. It was one of the first cars in Britain to have a fibre-glass body (what there is of it), but even by micro-car standards this was a very crude beast, and I doubt all 22 found buyers...

    Well, I'd go along with the 1968 Pontiac - is this an Executive Hardtop? The trim looks different from the Bonneville somehow, and I think the latter had skirts over the rear wheel arches.

    Dang, you ARE good. Most of us had long ago forgotten the Pontiac Executive, if we ever knew it in the first place. Yep it's a 1968 Pontiac Executive, a short-lived model intended to slot between the Catalina and the Bonneville (replacing the 2+2?).

    I thought it was a Bonneville, but didn't know because of the missing skirts. So I looked in a book - I had heard of the Executive, but I don't think I've ever seen one.

    That's a Fiat Croma, late 80's or early 90s. I used to own it's platform-cousin the SAAB 9000, (other cousins were the Lancia Thema and Alfa 164. It has the same greenhouse and windshield.

    This one has clearly been imported from a different market, as it is LHD, but the car was available in UK when new.

    This looks like a pre-war DKW F8, but as it is presumably post-war, I think this is an East German IFA F8.

    Yep it's an IFA based on the DKW, made up until the mid 50s in its prewar shape IIRC
