    silence from the peanut gallery...hmmmm???

assuming it has something to do with trucks and not f150's opinion of rob's sexual preferences...i'm thinking something about 22 years is on it's way.

but 22 years still ain't gonna get the ford in that video to pull the chevy!!!

    translation of posts 428-431:

    either:

    1. i'm too dumb to figure out how to work the link

    or

    2. i watched the link and have no one left to pick on besides a tundra owner who, by all rights, showed up a ford owner this weekend.

keep LYAO there f150...but don't believe anyone who says they're laughing WITH you...

    LOL

Why is he hiding his posts? Is that the deal he made with meredeth so he can stay???
  • obyoneobyone Member Posts: 7,841
Did he or meredith scribble it? He just posts trash anyway. Kinda like a mosquito buzzin around from topic to topic sucking blood out of it. And you know what happens to a mosquito......
  • obyoneobyone Member Posts: 7,841
Noticed that you don't post at all in the f150 topics. Must be what everybody says is true...your truck is nothing to talk about....LMFAO!!!
  • mgdvhmanmgdvhman Member Posts: 4,157
even know if he/she has one?....no proof...so why should we believe her/him?

Got your e-mail...You are such a loser!

Did you send anyone else e-mails? You always sound so angry. Just because you got ripped off and bought a truck that "looks" like it could handle rough terrain. The only things those fords are good at is gettin' punked by a smaller, lighter weight Chevy. I bet you watched that video of your ford getting stomped on and cried like a baby. ROTFLMFAO
  • bcobco Member Posts: 756
he sent you email? what a thug-loser. that's one of the reasons i changed all my info. don't want freaks like him stalking me...

    not really hidden?
  • obyoneobyone Member Posts: 7,841
long winded or off topic posts are supposed to be hidden in courtesy of people who have no interest in the post. In this case, I doubt if anyone would read....let me rephrase that...if anyone cares what f150rules has to type, and we know it is long winded by the description of 9 lines, and most certainly, it is off topic as he usually is. Hope this helps...
  • cdeancdean Member Posts: 1,110
Oh my! lets see, if F150idiot didn't post, there wouldn't be constant lies, testosterone denials, and there might even be discussion about new trucks! Geez, that would be just terrible....(read sarcasm, for folks like Fidiot)

don't waste your time with that clown. i have the answers to his absurd questions right here:

"GMs low quality antiquated designs [that pulled that ford all over the parking lot] and
how much better and more technically advanced 30
year old technology [that pulled that ford all over the parking lot] is for GMs trucks than all the competition [that pulled the ford AND dodge all over the parking lot]." damn, if the chevy's really that bad, ford mustn't have a clue if it's getting punked by it...

    LOL

f150...you're awful quiet regarding the video...could it be you have no answer??? just attacking others because you know how pathetically weak you are...

f150, i laughed when i saw your post #93 on thread #2178 "Firestone Wilderness Tires":

"Yep, them shakerados rattle and ROLL NOW TOO!!

GM isn't cooperating with replacement either.
Great quality company that GM is! LOL!!"

ford products are the only ones that have the recalled deathstone tires oem you moron. none of the oem tires on gm vehicles are on recall. matter of fact, ford's standards are so low...they general tires on lincoln navigators are recalled now too...

and you preach initial quality? gonna be real hard to drive your "bottom notch" ford around without tires, eh?

LOL...i know i don't feel exceptionally safe on mine, but at least they're not recalled...like ALL the fords are.

who told them to lower the pressure into the un-safe zone..

    - Tim
  • cdeancdean Member Posts: 1,110
Hello Idiot? Does you watch the news? Ford co-developed these tires, then after the fact, lowered the air pressure to help reduce rollover on the very unstable Explorer.

Now we can argue how much air a tire needs, but fact is, less air pressure, more tire surface on the ground= more heat generated.

And more heat has been the main cause of these failures-which is why the first states getting tires replaced are hot ones...Texas, California, Arizona, Florida, etc.

Ford held hands with Fstone for as long as they could, then they waved the white flag and offered to pay the piper. Fstone's mistake is that they let Ford admit it first--now Ford looks like the good guy, and Fstone doesn't.

What used to be a tight relationship (Ford and Fstone) will be no longer.

I had an answer for your video. Bumper to bumper hook-up is the most worthless test of trucks ever conceived
  • cdeancdean Member Posts: 1,110
Remember, they used to think the world was flat.

Remember, people used to not laugh in the streets at the person formally known as F150rules...
  • cdeancdean Member Posts: 1,110
    Oh yes,

and apparently you don't watch the news.

You know, I have had an "opportunity" to talk with many GM employees. It is funny the comments you will hear from them. I havn't talked to a GM auto worker yet that was proud to say they worked for GM. All that I have talked to have said they would not buy the crap that they actually build.

    Now that is quality!

During the GM strike, there was actually GM workers that admitted to sabotaging vehicles on the assembly line. Said it right on the news!

Ford builds the Taurus, rated #1 in safety over all passenger cars built in the US.

Ford also builds the best truck, rated higher in crash tests at front AND side impacts than the shakerado. Even the thinner sheet metal Tindra has a better safety impact rating than the shakerado.

    Blind blowtie loyalty kills!

"Ford also builds the best truck, rated higher in
crash tests at front AND side impacts"

may be true...now they just need to perfect their "multiple rollover impact" ratings - ROTFLMFAO!!!

from the cover of USA Today, Thursday, September 21, 2000, just above the fold on the left margin:

"New questions over Ford's role in tire flap.
Acknowledgment that a pickup, not an Explorer, was used in developing Firestone tires to be featured on Explorers, and investigation of Explorer stablilizer bar assemblies, have Ford Motor on the defensive."

    See the full story at:
    http://www.usatoday.com/money/consumer/autos/mauto850.htm

this has got to be my favorite quote though:

"Ford and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced investigations of front stabilizer bar assemblies on 1995-96 Explorers. The parts that attach the bar to the truck — called links — can fail."
...that can't be good can it??? i guess this must be what f150 was talking about when he was talking about "initial quality".

incidentally, there weren't any stories about silverados rolling in the usa today, or anywhere else for that matter...

It should be "Come see mgdvhman, cdean, bco and ryanbab join together and battle with F150rules & gmsucks" (although the last two are one in the same). The promo could be "come back each day and see how they continue to say the same things about nothing...over and over".

BUT...If you don't like THIS topic there are two or three more that are saying the same thing...over and over. I dodn't see how anyone watches the news, with so much going on right here. LOL!

    MEREDITH,
What's the point?? When this (or one of the others like it started) I believe people raved about how stupid it was. It's funny if "stupid is, stupid does". Not to be specific but stupid has been doing a lot around here, and it seems the least of which is intellectual and/or congenial communication.

    How do they say it?
Good Luck on this one now.
    DUH.
Don't bother with a response, I won't be looking/reading here anymore. Sorry boys.

Where ya been man. I figure i would post this over here and hope you get to read it. Rememer over on tims site when we talked about using my truck for roofing? Well guess what i am doing next wk? Yep hauling a bunch of (52 bundles) shingles and roofing material. Its either my truck or my cousins sonoma which would take 20 trips. Hes gonna be doing my grandmas roof for her.

    Ryan
  • RoclesRocles Member Posts: 982
    ryan,

SO which one is doing the roof? Your cousin? I guess you convinced him that the truck hauling was equal, eh??

I've been around but this is a busy season for us.

Is he going to use a compressor or is he cranking out the old hammer job?
  • obyoneobyone Member Posts: 7,841
Was talking to his buddy and nailed his foot...but that's why we have workman's comp. The foreman offered to remove the nail with a pair of pliers. Of course, the roofer with the nail in his foot, refused.
  • ryanbabryanbab Member Posts: 7,240
Actually i wish i could help him but i am going to a (dont say a word) dance (ryan dont dance but i am making an exception) with my gf that day. I am also picking it up to get my 10% discount hes going to pick it up with me but we are using my truck. He is using the old hammer.

  • timothyadavistimothyadavis Member Posts: 322
So what happened? Since the guy wouldn't let the foreman take the nail out, is he still nailed to the roof? He oughta be able to milk some kind of TV deal from that! Come on, tell the rest of the story. Idle minds want to know.... ;-)
  • RoclesRocles Member Posts: 982
Needless to say, the nail only went through the foot/shoe as opposed to actually nailing him to the rafter. duh. Sinkers don't go that deep.

Ryan--Dancing??? Oh man....you didn't knock anyone over yet have you?? LOL!

    Roc
  • obyoneobyone Member Posts: 7,841
cause the got the guy down from the roof to the yard and they were arguing who was to take him to the hospital. It wasn't late enough in the day to take the rest of the day off so no one wanted to take the guy to the doctor. While they are discussing it, the poor guy is moaning until someone offers to help him take off his shoe. Poor guy nearly faints...kept mumbling that the only person touching his shoe or foot would be the doctor.

    timothyadavis

the nailgun incident wasn't as interesting as having a roofer fall through my ceiling and my drop ceiling missing my 35" tv by mere inches. Foreman doesn't ask him how he is rather yells at him for losing money on the job by damaging my ceiling. Sounds insensitive? Ask Roc...nobody else on the job seemed to care either...like par for the course. Well, maybe I'm insensitive also as I couldn't stop laughing....just thankful that it wasn't the same guy that shot his foot...
