Well in the Accord forum, they leased a load V6 Navi Accord with a sale price of about $28k or so, they pay $430 a month. So for the extra 2k on your price that so sounds about right, to too bad, but of course, you can always, always work a bit more on any deal.
I do not know the actual numbers, but I just leased one yesterday. I am not sure that there was not *any* room left in the deal, but I know it was lean. $450/mo sign and drive (nothing due at signing). This was in south florida. TSX no tech package.
What do you mean by sign and drive? I paid the first of 36 payments when I took posession of the car (35 more payments). Since lease payments are paid the month before you use the car I consider this sign and drive. Is it?
I suppose you *could* look at it that way, but when I sign and drive a car it's just that. Sign on the dotted line and drive the car away. They just roll the inceptions into the car lease. So yesterday I showed up at the dealership, signed and drove off. I paid NOTHING at the table. My first payment will be due when I get the first bill, I suppose within a few weeks.
I am at work now, I will try to provide details when I get home (if I remember). The milage is 12k, 36 months, but I dont remember the sale price, I was shopping monthly payment only.
I dont know how people are getting the prices they are claiming. I checked out the TSX with a friend of mine who is a dealer. Unless the incentives changed in August, I cant see how anyone was able to buy a TSX with the tech package for under $480/mo without putting over $1000 down. I tried and got a really good deal offered, but I saw on this forum people who claim they got a tech tsx for $437. Even with tax at 7% (which was their tax rate) that would be $467. I was unable to get the car anywhere near that.
If they are not lying about it, then not only did they get a great deal, but the incentives must have changed for August. I do not believe it's possible right now. I think about $800 down and $480/mo is about as lean as it gets right now for a tech tsx, at least in South Florida.
I ended up with a non-tech because I wanted to save money, and I love the car and the price.
Yup that sounds about right. Well, it sounds about right for a great deal, but it's doable. Without that down money I dont think you will do any better than that. Nice job on that deal for sure!
Thanks to everyone for providing real numbers here. It really helped me with getting my TSX. I just didnt have down money so the tech would have run me too close to $500/mo. I had a sign and drive BMW Z4 for $525 and I wanted to lower the payments, so the non-tech made more sense.
Maybe Mike will talk to his car and navigate for me once in a while so I can live vicariously though him while I look at my black and white display on mine .
im trying to find out if this is a good lease price, from the looks of some of the other postings i can do much better. let me know your thoughts. price 32820 doc fee 598 acquisition fee 595 license fee 21.00 gross cap cost 33415 risidual .53 risidual amount 17394.60 miles 12000 prepaid cents miles .10 adjusted risidual 17394.60 term 48 months rate/money factor .00295 advanced payment 509.65 total cap reduction 308.49 upfront charges 681.86 initial payment 1500
base monthly payment 476.31 monthly tax 33.34
payment 509.65
let me know your thoughts and where i can nogotiate the price to get it down to where you guy are at.
For 48 months I was quoted $475 down, $475 month (including 6% sales tax). This was for 10000 miles though, not 12000. I just didnt want a 48 month lease.
Yea that is not good at all. I do not know where you are but there is no reason to be paying MSRP fo the car. You should be getting the price at approx $30,500 I would stich with a 36 month 12K lease and if you are paying incep fees only you should get a rate of approx $459
Ramsey hands down has had the best deals in NJ from what I have seen. if you want some futher info let me know. Not sure if I can post salesperson name or not
Thanks for the reply mikebzt. Any further info that you can pass on to me about the dealership would be greatly appreciated. I'm beginning to see the same thing about Ramsey's prices so far. They had emailed me a price of $379/month for 36 mo lease with 15k miles for base '09 TSX and $1400 due at signing which will cover taxes, fees, etc. They also emailed a cap cost of $26,695. Does this seem like a good deal or do you think I can go lower? I emailed back asking for a breakdown of the fees along with the money factor/residual value but haven't heard back yet.
I dealt with Victor Kaczynski.. He really knew what he was talking about and there was no pressure at all. he would be my suggestion and I think he could evn drop the price a bit from what you were given. Since I just purchased from him tell him tony diglio reccomended you. good luck and let me know how it goes
Can someone explain the difference between open and closed ended leases? Which one do you recommend (if there is an option) for leasing my TSX? I've heard that Honda Leases are Open leases. Does Honda offer any other options?
The TSX lease is really expensive right now, when compared to more realistic numbers. They are doing exactly what they did to the Accord, bump everything up really strict, then gradually move down. I have not seen a new TSX on the road yet, but then again, I rarely see any TSX's on the road. Though worth it, I am not going to overpay on any car, sooner or later it'll have a more appealing lease. Maybe when the new TL arrives, they will have to move cars, as both models will be really expensive to lease. If you want an old 08 TSX, grab it now, or wait. If you want the 08 TL, get one now, as the new TL, won't be seen at that price for a long long time. This isn't the best time to get too strict with pricing though. Dealers are partly to blame.
I agree about the TL. I have been talking to my local Acura dealership about the TSX and with the $2500 marketing support, they gave me a cheaper lease payment on the 08 TL compared to the 09 TSX for the 36 month lease. For the TL, they offered me $500 down with $419 per month for 36 months and 12K miles per year. I was set on the TSX but the TL is very hard to pass up at that price. I do not have the residual and money factor yet.
That's a really good offer man. Was it just the standard TL with no Navi?. I want a TL with Navi with atleast 15k. I wonder what they can offer me. Do you know if they are having major labor day sale for the TL? I seen the New TL they don't look so great, and since the new TL are coming out, I hope they will hook it up with the 08 TL. So glad I found this forum!
Federico, It was just the standard TL, no navi. I don't know about any labor day sale, but according to Edmunds the $2,500 marketing support is good until 9/2. I think inventory is becoming scarce so you may want to act fast. I will post the residual and money factor when they give it to me. With the marketing support, you may be able to get the car under invoice, I will also let you know my purchase price.
Ohh really? so marketing is sponsoring a special on these TL? I'll go this weekend and check it out. Dope your getting one already.. I can't wait to get my new ride already. I'm still crusing in a 02 TL. i remember they offer my sister a 08 TL with Navi for 500 a month nothing down 12 K miles.. Damn I want my TL asap, I stay in Cali LA...
Hey everyone thanks for your help! I just got a pretty good deal I think. 08 Acura TL White on Black with Navi. 750 Drive off includes 1st month and DMV. $393.41 + Tax = $426.84 for 35 Month lease with 12K Miles.
After looking around I'm down to this lease quote for the TSX base model AT. Does this seem like a good deal? Please let me know because I plan to buy very soon. If not, can someone give me some suggestions on what to work on?
36 Month Lease 15K miles Cap cost = 26584 MF = .00280 Residual = 64% 7% NJ tax
I will put down $1788 (Covers $199 doc fee, $595 Bank fee, $278 MV fee, and $716 Destination)
$374.43 per month (36 payments as the 1st payment is not added in inception)
Anything else I can work on? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi heischjr. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a base 2009 Acura TSX (without the Tech package) with 12,000 miles per year are .00270 and 66%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its "Super Preferred" credit tier and pay a security deposit at lease signing.

I am currently about to lease a new Acura. Does anyone have some advice on the Acura Road Hazard Protection Plan? Is it worth it at a total of $425 or is is just another one of those useless protection plans? Also, if I opt out is there a cheaper way to get things fixed (without violating the lease) without having to pay acura dealer repair prices?
My suggestion is to go in and talk to victor there. Don't let him know you were given that quote from Ramsey tell him the quote is from Park Ave Acura and you want him to beat the price. there might be a little more wiggle room there for you
Well it'll probably be like the previous generation Accord before the 08's arrived. They'll be a time period where they will practically be giving away the TL's before its new model arrives. But, it will only last so long, as they ran the special, then it when to normal sales on them, even when they still have many on the lots, because even then people will still consider the old model over the new. I saw many my 07's sitting for months though. So I would grab the 08 TL now, and then get the newer TL later, as both the new TL and TSX will eventually come down to realistic pricing. Just like the Accord, I remember all the hype, therefore equaled a huge premium. Now, you can get one for a pretty good price. It is hilarious seeing the dealers mark up the car so much, especially when they deck out a model, and its so pricey, that it just sits. Just like this Accord that has $2,600 chrome wheels on it, that is alot of money just for wheels, especially on a lease. Its been sitting for months.
I see people are getting amazing deals on the TL, very sharp car!! You simply cannot go wrong. Wait a bit longer, you can probably get one cheaper than an Accord.
Any recommendations for dealers, or deals on the Acura TSX 2009? I'm looking to lease for 12k or 15k, 36 months.
But the down payment given to me were high with high payments. I was given a good deal with the lexus IS 250 but the interior is pretty cramp. Any advice? Or Has anyone gotten a good deal in South Florida for the TSX basic model?
I got a pretty good deal at Pembroke Pines Acura. Just email them, and you will get in touch with the guy I dealt with. My deal has been beaten on this forum by a few bucks monthly, but they are pretty close anyway. My deal was on a base model (manual transmission). $450/mo sign and drive (no out of pocket money). I signed and I left the lot. It was a really good experience... no pressure at all.
Just got for the '09 TSX base $401/mo for 36 months with $651 down including first month's payment, all inclusive of taxes, tags, destination, etc. Was this as good of a deal as I thought it was?
Here's the information that you're looking for, flbuyer. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Acura TSX with the Tech Package and 15,000 miles per year are .00270 and 60%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its "Super Preferred" credit tier and pay a security deposit at lease signing. The numbers for an otherwise identical 48 month lease are .00255 and 50%.

Can you tell me what dealership in Tampa gave you that $411/mo and did that include tax as well? Also if you can what was the salespersons name?
Thanks,
GuitarJ

2009 TSX tech package
$449 Month
$1290 Inceps only
12k 36 month lease
NJ Dealership Ramsey to be exact. They had the lowest incep pricing.
The 437 price I would have put more down than just inceps

An open end lease can leave you on the hook for thousands of dollars of charges at the end of the lease... Never agree to an open end lease.
