Can you tell me where you are located and how much you paid for your IS 250 Tungsten Pearl w/ Black interior? I am considering getting the same car with the Premium Package in the Northeast NY/NJ area.

I got a good deal from Magnussen Lexus in Fremont Ca. I was treated right, the fleet Guy RC was real nice. He just showed me invoice said a % over and that was that. I went to finance and treated me great no pressure. I did buy the Paint Sealant, I know you are all laughing, but for me it works and I also got the Lo jack. I get a discount on my insurance for having it. I bought the IS350 with the Mark Levingson system. :)

Hi I have an offer for a 2007 IS 250 for 33,750 out the door with tax, title, and license include. The IS 250 include the Hid lamps, the premium package which has ventilated seats and bird's eye maple wood grain, 18 in summer wheels, and cargo net package....The interest rate they are offering is 5.85% with mo payments of $555.00 in the dallas area...Please someone let me know if this is a good deal?? My other concern is the interest rate, which seems too high for a brand new car...i have excellent credit, above 800....wat should i do??? SHould I take the interest rate or look elsewhere?? Should I go ahead and make the deal or wait it out another month? Any answers to the questions will help a bunch!!!! Thanks for your help!!
  • xbabyg29xxbabyg29x Member Posts: 6
I'm trying to find out from people who have actually bought the car, and what they have paid for it and the interest rate they got for it.
  • xbabyg29xxbabyg29x Member Posts: 6
For the same MSRP 35,222 they quoted me an out the door price of 33,750. it sounds like you're getting a way better deal if they are offering 31,500 out the door with tax, title, and license included. What's the interest rate they are offering and where are you located? I dn't think I am getting a good deal on my 5.85% interest rate since I have a credit score in the 800s... Please let me know what they are offering you...thanks for your help!!
  • serendipity2kserendipity2k Member Posts: 10
Hi xbabyg29x, your interest rate is still way better than mine which is 7.1% in Houston, TX. My credit score is around 800. I got my car with the same options like yours for $34,500 OTD. I bought it in November 2006. Good luck!
  • arpan176arpan176 Member Posts: 9
i got a AWD but different options. anyway, yes speaking from experience, i paid $67 above invoice but i know someone got $3 under invoice. this is schaumburg-arlington dealerships. try to buy at the end of month, call every dealer and demand a specific price (they will beg you to come in but dont)...pit dealers against each other. $2k above is way too much.
  • richter2richter2 Member Posts: 7
Just in case, this is useful information for other - I bought a 2007 Lexus IS 250 AWD with Navi & Luxury package (sticker 40,501) for 36,000 plus taxes.
  • xbabyg29xxbabyg29x Member Posts: 6
Actually, they started with 7, but I negotiated it down to 5.85...so I think there may still be room for negotiation. Wow, they were offering me 34,500 OTD too but was able to negotiate... wow, 5 months after you purchased your vehicle, they are still trying to keep the same pricing.
  • arpan176arpan176 Member Posts: 9
sounds excellent...how much was the invoice?
  • richter2richter2 Member Posts: 7
    I had 2 options:
#1 - Invoice: 35,351, Sticker: 40,501 Offer from dealer 36,000 (Car was in dealer inventory)
#2 - Invoice: 34,287 Sticker: 39,171 Offer from dealer: 35,000 (Dealer did not have car in inventory)
    I hope this helps.

Can I the information as well?

    Thanks,
  • richter2richter2 Member Posts: 7
FYI - Another dealer called me today with his best quote.
35.750 for the IS 250 AWD with premium package, navi & headlights (40.501 sticker). This is by far the best deal I could find (approx 250 less that what I paid on monday).
    Good luck!

I also shopped all OC and LA county dealers for my daughters IS250. The most price agressive, up front internet mgrs.I came across were George Kantanos from Longo, and Lorna Metzger from Westminster. I ended up with Westminster since its closer and everything went great. I thought the person at Newport had an attitude.
  • richter2richter2 Member Posts: 7
Mind if I asked you what you paid?
  • ocss60ocss60 Member Posts: 2
We paid $29,950 plus TTL for the one without navigation.

I am trying to sell my IS 250 awd 2007 ASAP for 32.5

    do you know anyone?
  • buyer8105buyer8105 Member Posts: 1
Decided to stop into Lexus today just out of pure curiosity, really like the way the IS looked and decided to test drive one. Absolutely beautiful and now I think I want one. This is what I was quoted and I think actually I know its way off the wall due to the amount they wanted down. IS350 loaded with Premium Package, vented seats, HID, 18in wheels the only thing it didnt have was Nav. MSRP of 39k taken down to 37.5k, would trade in my 2001 Accord EX value of 7k (started me at 3k), and would walk out with 48 month 12k/yr for $498. I am in South Florida and went to Lexus of Palm Beach. Is it me or is that a lot to put down? Ive been reading the forums and everyone says to put the least amount possible down. Anyone in South Florida in the forum; any feedback is greatly appreciated, I own my accord outright if that makes any difference and this is my first time leasing so I am a newbie.

    Cheers

    Rich

Went to the Lexus dealership in Newport, CA and was given a final price OTD of $33,000 for IS 250 w/o nav. Walked away because I thought I could get 32k.

Anyone in so. cal. got a price at or below $32,000 OTD for a basic IS 250?
  • justasimpleguyjustasimpleguy Member Posts: 6
    Hey

I got mine with nav for 32000 plus tax and license so total out the door is 34880. and for the is250 without nav was offered $32000 otd but i decided to get the one with nav.i got it from Longo lexus, from the internet sale manager, his name is DAVID GOLD. look for him. he'll give you the best deal. you can try to negotiate for lower than that. i think you can get it. call longo and look for him and let me know the price when you get the car. i'd like to compare.

I just bought IS 250 w/ nav, premium package, & spoiler (msrp $38217, invoice around $32844) for $34132 OTD.

Which dealership did you go to?

I am planning to buy a IS250 in dallas area. My current offer is $34000 OTD with premium package and 18inch wheels. Is it good enough. Since there are only 4 dealers in town, I am not sure how much I can get.

Initially, I offered $31500. All the internet dealers laughed at me. Am I too harsh to them?
  • blowellblowell Member Posts: 3
Ended up going to the Mission Viejo dealership and getting my IS 250 for $32,000 OTD. I called the guy at Newport to match or beat it but he wouldnt and gave me a final offer of $33,000.

I was told by a Lexus dealership in the Chicago area that 250 RWD models are NOT stocked in the Midwest region. They said that if I wanted a RWD model, I'd have to place a order, and I'd have to wait 3-4 months to get the car. They said that they only stock IS 350 RWD and IS 250 AWD models in the Midwest.

    Can someone confirm this?

Also, I'd like to have the perforated seats with heating/cooling on the 250 RWD, but I don't want the wood trim that's part of the Premium Package. Had anyone had any experience with this?

    Thanks!

Hi everyone, just picked up my IS from Greenwich yesterday.

MSRP was $39,171 and dealer sold it to me for $34,657 before TTL. Got the best deal from there.

Nice job! The best deal I found for that car after doing ton of research was 35K.
  • ajmtbmajmtbm Member Posts: 245
that seems to be an excellent deal. what were others dealershipes offering for similar vehicles?

for that price i assume nav, right?
  • jeffreysan739jeffreysan739 Member Posts: 1
hey, i am also interested in getting a lexus that is similar to what you got. can you give me the name of the sales person so i can get the same deal as yours. thanks.
  • mrpinoymrpinoy Member Posts: 4
Yup, this is with nav. The New Haven dealership quoted me around $35,600 and Westport about $36,500 haha.

    Hi guys,

Anyone trying to get a IS250 RWD (w/ Navi) in the Bay Area, CA, lately?
I've been asking around, but seems like some of the quotes that others were getting before (31699 + TTL was the lowest i've seen on the forum a couple months back) is just no longer possible. They were saying that it's 2000 below invoice, and absolutely can't match that price.

Anybody has the same experience? or any thoughts to this?
  • xbabyg29xxbabyg29x Member Posts: 6
I think you can get the car for lower than that out the door because I was able to negotiate 33,750 out the door. I decided to wait because i am not in a rush to purchase the vehicle.
  • awheelandawheeland Member Posts: 4
I was just at the MV dealership yesterday. And I was quoted the following:

    $5300 down (trade-in value)

    12,000 miles

    $461/month for 36 months
    $409/month for 48 months

I want to lease the IS250 with navigation.
  • austinchrissyaustinchrissy Member Posts: 1
Hello, I used these forums and information extensively before I negotiated for my IS 250 - so here's some information back to help you.
I started my phone calls on Monday and drove the car home on Saturday. OTD - $39,750 for a black with cashmere interior IS250 RWD, navigation, Luxury Package, Spoiler, Tinted Windows, Preferred Accessory Package, 100K/7 Year Warranty. Taxes and all other costs are included in this figure. If you are in Texas - these 3 dealers are the BEST and most willing to work with you. Sewell Lexus in Dallas, Westside Lexus in Houston, and Lexus of Clear Lake in Houston. I wish I could give you names but the rules here say not to. The 3 sales people I worked with at these 3 dealerships did back-flips to get me information and follow-ups. I wish I could have bought a car from each of them. Several other dealerships were worthless or totally NOT interested in making a sale. Dealers - here's a tip: Don't send a potential customer to a generic website for a price.
    I LOVE my IS 250!!!
    Chrissy ;)

Hi, I am shopping for the IS250 in the Bay Area, I have a color preference but I understand it's usually easier to get better price with cars on the lot already.. but would like to know if they have some with X package sometimes.

But this aside the car we are looking for is 07 IS250 auto, HID, 18" wheels and no navigation, I read here if around or less than $32000 will be reasonable?

It's also the first car we are buying new so I am not familiar with all the haggling process! I have not made up my mind of the downpayment but it will be minimum $5k maximum $10k.

The good thing is that we don't need the car this week, but we would like to take ownership of the car before the end of the year.

Please send me any information to my e-mail or messaging if you don't want to post here!
    Thanks in advance.
