My understanding is that during the Summer Sale Event, you can get 5.99% with 730+ credit. The dealer is supposed to get back to me with more info. Specifically, we are trying to find out if it's lower than that for previous finance customers (Encore).

I have read many times of the issues that Don't Buy a Lexus had and I am not sure what sort of issues that he has had but he must not know a thing about vehicles. If you have any sense you can have all factory maintence oil changes etc. done with warranty coverage at any Toyota dealership. I ha owned my Lexus for quite some time and my average oil change is $30 and I have not changed my brakes as of yet at 60k.

I'm looking at a 2007 IS250 RWD with standard premium package and options, no nav MSRP $35222.

Carsdirect quoted me $30671 + TTL.

Should I take it and run or do you think there's any dealer here that will beat that.

So far I have one dealer who will match it, but carsdirect is less hassle.

    I appreciate any advice.

Ok, one more question. My current lease ends in October when I assume the 2008 model will be what's available. It looks like there are some pretty good discounts on the IS250 right now, is it likely going to be hard to match these prices for 2008 model year - is it worth looking to pick up the is250 now? I'm probably going to resell my current vehicle as there is some equity there and can do it early if necessary...

    Hello all.
We traded a 2005 350z in for a new IS250 a few days ago. They paid off the lease on the Z and we got a really great deal at JM Lexus near Ft. Lauderdale.
    What a pleasurable buying experience!!
More importantly, what a deal!! The car has so many nice features that are standard on this vehicle!
Contact Duane Massa in sales and he will hook you up!
They are a volume dealer so you get a sweeeet price.
We picked the tungsten pearl w/light grey interior....need I say more...stereo is amazing...went around some new windy roads last nite about 35MPH and watched as the headlights moved while rounding corners...way too cool..push button start w/ intelligent remote, 18" wheels, telescopic steering, great gas mileage.
You'll definitely turn heads w/ this car.

ok this really piss me off!!!
no offense.. I have been on this thread for almost a year now.
I have seen some good posting and some really bad ones on here.
and This one looked like a Dealer AD to me.
    1. this guy keep saying what a great deal he got! but no price at all???
    2. He descibes how good the car is and blah blah blah like in a AD would do.
    3. and of course he put the Dealer name and Sales person name on there.
If the dealership really offered a super low price, usually they don't want too many people know about the low price, and they usually don't want to talk about it.

if this is a real person, please post the great deal you got in details like all the other people did. If not then please don't bother waste our time on this thread!!!!!!!
Some people here are serious buyers, who doesn't like to waste time getting the run around. I think all the serious buyers agree with me on this.
  • flashzoomflashzoom Member Posts: 64
well, as for pricing wise. depends what kind of offers you have got from Lexus.
If it's a really good deal, doesn't hurt to get it now. also you want to see on your current Lease, are you over mileage or under mileage. If it's over mileage, you can get the Lexus right now with a good deal, and don't drive your current lease car for the next few months, so you won't keep build up on your current lease mileage. but it all depends on what your current lease deal is, and also what kind of offer your got from Lexus.
  • flashzoomflashzoom Member Posts: 64
I think that's about the right loan interest rate, if you got that offered by Credit Union, take that in, usually the Lexus will try to match the Leasing rate. They did that to a few of my friends. They are will to do almost anything to earn your business sometimes.
  • flashzoomflashzoom Member Posts: 64
well, that is a decent deal. Not bad, but not super good either.
but definately you are not getting ripped off.
I don't know if Carsdirect is less hassle, but my car shopping experience have always been pretty hassle free. for your deal, u might be able to save about another $500 to $700. But that's about the limit. It's up to you to decide, if its worth it the time to do some more research.

e-mail me, if you have anymore questions. flashzoom@roadrunner.com

Thanks Flash. It turns out that I was finally able to get a dealer to beat the price. Longo Lexus offered me almost $600 below that plus delivery. I'm very happy with the offer and I'm gonna close the deal this weekend. My girlfriend is really excited about getting her new car!

    Hey Guys,

I'm about to go haggle out a dealer this Saturday for a lease on a 2007 Lexus IS250 AWD. The car I want MSRPs for $36,500.

Now what exactly do I have to ask him for? Money factor? Residual value? Selling price? Is there anything else?

I live in the North Jersey area. Anyone lease from around here recently?
  • philliesphillies Member Posts: 2
I'm from Jersey too. Did you have any luck today?

    Hi, I am a newbie about to make the first purchase. I am looking into purchasing IS250 with Nav / Audio option package. I have a couple of questions;

    1. One dealer told me that she needs 3 to 4 months since this option is not standard; is this true?
    2. What are some of the prices that you paid - Carsdirect is quoting me at $32,166. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!!

Bought a 2007 IS 350 black on black w/ Navigation at Scanlon Lexus in Fort Myers Florida

    $37.5k knocked down from a 42k MSRP
Scanlon charges no dealer fee. So a little less than 40k out the door.

    Hello everyone,

Am I being realistic to be able to purchase a 2006 Lexus IS 250 with low mileage ( around 20k),with the standard package. No navigation or any other options for around 27,000. I live in Florida and am having no luck. Sent out several direct quote emails with one response, a guy from South Florida who was a real a**. Lexus dealership in Orlando was in my opinion very overpriced. They have the IS 250 model with 30,606 miles for 32,950.

Any input on what I can reasonable expect to pay for this car with standard features and low miles.
    Thank you

    Hi Guys,

What money factor should I bargain for leasing the IS350 2007 (36 months & 15K miles) if I have only 650 FICO credit score? I see that the 0.00175 was listed for those who have 730+ FICO. But, what about 650? Any idea?

    Thanks.

    Dear All,
We are considering an IS350 in Houston, I was wondering what people are getting for prices in Houston, and what the current finance rate is for the summer sale that ends on september 4th. (i have read all the previous posts)

I have heard that the "December to Remember" sales event is similar, but I doubt that any 2007s will be left by then.

    Thanks,

    Sunil

    OOPS!!
    IS250 in Houston, not 350.

    Sorry,

    Hi all,

I am considering getting an IS250 AWD in the greater seattle area. Does anyone have any buying experience in dealing with the dealership in Seattle/Bellevue/Tacoma? I prefer black/black or black/grey with no navigation. MSRP from edmunds.com and lexus website is 35050 but i got a quote from internet sales for 36200. A little overprice huh!?

    Thanks a ton,
    Kevin

Don't know where you are in Florida, but you might try Lexus of Melbourne. Smaller dealership, but I just purchased an 08 RX350 there and I feel like I got a pretty decent deal. By contrast, when I visited the Orlando Lexus dealer, it seemed like they weren't real interested in making a deal. Total pkg (new car and trade) would have cost me about $4K more in Orlando.

    Hi all:

I just got my new 07 IS250 RWD today with Premium package, Navigation system, HID, 18" wheel with summer tire, Preferred Accessory Package and XM Satellite Radio for $35,400 OTD. Was it a good deal? I live in L.A.
  • mrtrancemrtrance Member Posts: 199
Which dealership? What was your selling price of the car before taxes?
  • mrtrancemrtrance Member Posts: 199
I got my IS250 with Premium/NAV/XM for $32,500 + TTL. I had received a $500 coupon from the dealer which I was able to apply after we had settle on a purchase price. I'm pretty happy with my deal since the demand is hight now and inventory is low for the 07's. The dealers aren't discounting like they did a few months back. I got my from Newport Lexus in SoCal.
  • cookiedjcookiedj Member Posts: 2
Congrats, I got mine from Ontario Crown Lexus, the MSRP price was $38,377, sale price $32,361+TTL, $35,400 OTD plus one more free oil change coupon. I think I could make it $35,000 even, but tired of negotiation.

Just pulled the trigger on a 2007 IS 250 AWD w/ nav, bluetooth, xm, wood trim and premium package. Sticker was $39,771 and selling price was $35,490 + TTL in Virginia. The dealer was willing to meet the best price listed on the forum for the same car, so thanks to all who shared their buying experience. Can't wait to pick up the car!
  • thannatosthannatos Member Posts: 1
I'm looking at a Certified used IS250 AWD w/ 10,704 miles, Nav + Prem in Washington. What price should I hope to buy it for? The dealership is selling it for $37,000 which seems insane when some are able to buy a new 07 for 35,500.
  • sassy14sassy14 Member Posts: 3
Thanks for the information. I have not contacted Lexus of Melbourne yet. But without a doubt Lexus of Orlando could have cared less about making a deal. There whold attitude was a take it or leave it, which is what I did. I have the money, so I will just hold on to it till I find the right dealer. May I ask what resources you used to price your deal.
  • eyedrbeyedrb Member Posts: 4
Va1174, where in Va did you purchase it? Im considering one and live in southern VA, but will probably have to buy in greensboro, nc. However, if better deals are available north its worth a drive. Thanks. Love these forums.
  • tarukytaruky Member Posts: 18
I'm curious about what you mean by "premium package". Do you mean luxury package? That would bring your sticker price considerably over $39,771. I live in Northern Virginia and bought my IS 250 AWD from Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly. It included Navigation, HID/Adaptive headlights, wood trim, and cargo net/wheel locks/trunk mat. The sticker price was $39,072, I purchased it for $35,100. If you got one with the luxury package AND XM for $35,490, I suddenly don't feel so good about my deal :( . Interestingly in our region they don't keep the IS 250's with luxury package on their lots, you have to order it. Of course ordering it might have lessened my bargaining power.
  • lfc101lfc101 Member Posts: 2
I just bought a new IS250 AWD in Seattle with only HID and Accessory package (Cargo mat/net & wheel lock) for $33,386 + TTL. After signing it I think I could get an even better deal, but I was not pressing enough and I do not need Navigation.

    Hope it helps

Wanna say thanks to this forum, helped me a lot on my lease of the 07 IS250. got the car last night, very excited, and wanted to post the number i got for fellow edmunds members:

smoky granite with HID, NAV, Premium, X package, Preffered accessory pack, XM

    765 Destination

    total MSRP 39,112.00
    adjusted cap. cost 33578.65

    36 month lease, 0.00165 MF, 56% Residual (12k miles)

    drive off: 1380
    monthly: 450.18 tax included.

dealer is located in southern california, ontario.

    thanks
  • va1174va1174 Member Posts: 3
Sorry for the confusion, it wasn't well described... intended to mean whatever they call that catch-all package where you get all the power window, door, perf. leather, etc. Sounds from your description that you and I got the same car (minus the XM) and that we both got a good deal! I just picked mine up today and it was hard to come home and leave it in the driveway -- wanted to keep driving!
  • va1174va1174 Member Posts: 3
Got it through Lexus of Richmond and they were great to deal with. Think they have an internet sales manager indicated on their website. Good luck!

'07 IS 250 Starfire Pearl w/ black interior
w/ Nav. HID, 18" summer tires, preferred acc.pck, spoiler

    MSRP $37,841
    invoice $33,453
he's giving $500 below invoice which is $32,953
    36 mo 36,000 miles
    0 down
$495 even a month (that's including taxes) for 35 months
    What do you guys think?
    please advise
    thank you.
  • mrtrancemrtrance Member Posts: 199
My recent deal on an IS250 with Premium Plus/NAV/XM was the following:

    MSRP: $38,377
    Invoice: $33,854
Purchase Price: $32,500 (had $500 coupon emailed from dealer)
Total Drive off: $1900 (includes 1K down payment, 1st month, Registeration, Doc fee, etc.)
    Monthly: $410 (includes 7.75% tax) 36mo/12K

For every 1k down payment, your monthly payment should decrease by about $27. If I just did drive off (0 down payment), then my monthly payment would have been about $437/mo with taxes.

    Hi shinchanwu,

Thanks for posting the deal you received in Southern Cal. I am looking to lease or purchase the IS250 with the same packages as the car you just leased. I live in Northern California (Sacramento area) and I can't seem to find a good deal here. Do you mind disclosing the dealership's name? I don't mind going to So. Cal to purchase a car if I can get a better deal.
  • shinchanwushinchanwu Member Posts: 5
    hello padillard,

yes of course, i got it at CROWN LEXUS in the city of ONTARIO. just talk to the internet department, tell them about this deal, and they should match the price. it's toward the end of the month, i think they will be more aggressive on their price.

    GOOD LUCK :D
