Are the residuals on the 2015 models expected to be higher (vs 2014 now) once they come out, since technically those cars will be newer when they're turned in?

.00026 MF and 55% residual. $1200 lease cash.
Are you sure that $24,201 isn't the selling price? The only MSRP that works with that residual is $25,265. So, either your MSRP or your residual amount is incorrect.

I just double checked my numbers, the Residual value is correct, So I have to assume that the MSRP was $25, 265, as you stated above. Seems a bit high.

MSRP is $25,265. Just to clarify, with those numbers at 307/month is that considered a good deal? Thanks for the input!
I get about $296/mo.+ tax.. but, yeah.. that seems high. Considering the $1200 dealer lease cash on this model, the discount the dealer is giving is effectively zero.
I know the coupe is not the big seller that the sedan is, and may not get the same discounts, but there should be discounts available. You are basically paying MSRP minus the incentive, when you should be closer to Invoice minus the incentive.
Every $1000 that you lower the sale price, saves $28/mo. on the lease payment.

Ok i see. My last question is, well my brother went on and signed the lease yesterday at this price, he didn't wait for me to do this research, but has yet to sign the financial papers. He has only signed the lease papers and today he is going in to sign the finance documents. Can he refuse to sign the finance papers? and have them take the car back. How will this affect his credit. I am not sure if this can be answered here, but either way thank you very much for your feedback. Also just to note, I know there is no cooling off period in CA, im just trying to find a loophole if possible.

Thank you for your quick response. I would like to share that fortunately the dealership made an error on the contract so now they are willing to renegotiate the entire deal! For the 2014 Honda Accord 2dr coupe Lx-s, what would be a great monthly payment, MF, Residual, etc.... Thank you very very much, you've been great help to us new time leasers, in this great learning experience! Also the MSRP they claim to be for this vehicle is $25,625

Getting close to finalizing a deal with the dealer. Looking at 14 Accord EX-L sedan non navi in OC, ca
Deal: 24 month lease 15k/year So Cal sales tax 8% MF .00026
MSRP: 29060
Sales Price: 25200
Lease Cash (850)
Loyalty Reb (500)
Net Sale Price 23850
Residual: 17145.40 (59%)
Acquisition 595
License/Misc 405
Net Cap Cost: 24750
Monthly payment: $353.99 x24
Due at signing: $353.99 (first payment)
Could also back out to a 36/15 lease for $291.72/mo. There's a dollar or 2 here or there because of fee fluctuations, but the bulk of the deal is there.
I think it's getting close...my target was $350/mo nothing but first payment out of pocket, which assumed a $24250 sale price incl lease cash, then the $500 loyalty rebate for a net $23750 sale price. I'm $100 off that right now.
Dealer is quoting 60% 24/15 residual for 2014 accord ex-l sedan 4 cyl. I thought it was 59%. What's the current 36/15 and 24/15 residuals on this model in ca?

Hi! In negotiations via email with a Delaware dealer for a 2014 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L w/Navi. for $26,632 (MSRP is like $30k). Dealer gave $3200 off + $500 for recent grad + $500 for Acura/Honda loyalty. 36 Mo. Lease, 15k mi/year, Only 1st payment due @ signing, $399/mo.
Is this a deal? Dealer says MF is .00026. I was shooting for $300/mo since I am currently in a '12 Acura TL lease for $400/mo, 15k mi/yr. I did have a trade-in worth $3500 at the time. I really would like to save on the payment, and would prefer not to put money down. Think I can get it down to $300/mo? Dealer says if I pay tax/tags it'll drop the payment. Any suggestions on negotiating this further?
