i just got a quote today on a 2015 RC 350 AWD, I don't have the exact numbers but here is what I know
MSRP is 50k he's saying he took 6k off so I'm assuming the sale price is around 44k
total out of pocket is 3000 with monthly payment 515 a month (33 month lease) that includes all fees and taxes. 15k miles per year. They are cutting me a check for 2600 to cover the last 4 payments on my current lease (Lexus IS $400 a month and 1000 for extra miles). I don't feel like they are doing me a huge favor it's a Lexus and I got it from the same dealer ship. I feel like those numbers are too high after reading the numbers other people are getting.
I only left 500 deposit and they will run my credit, what do you think? I'm leaning towards backing out

.00075 MF and 63% residual for 33mo, 15K/yr. $1000 lease cash.
Without knowing the exact numbers, we'd just be guessing.
Be careful of a dealership cutting you a check and leaving you to turn in your current lease on your own. If they aren't taking it in trade or taking it back on a "pull-ahead" program, you may be liable for other end of lease charges that you weren't expecting.
I am going to call tomorrow and get the exact selling price. I already talked to other dealers today and Lexus of bay ridge beat them (2350 out of pocket instead of 3000 and 515 a month) same car same options, they will take my current lease but they don't have the 2 year free maintenance package. I agree with you, I don't want them to cut me a check it doesn't feel right even other dealers said that's strange. Thanks again for your help
400 out of pocket and I will pay off my current lease (2600 total) instead of giving them 3000 and they pay it off, same thing.
What do you think? I am about to lease a deposit
Again... .it's not the same thing. Even if you make all of your lease payments, your lease is still not up and you may not be able to turn it in early, without penalty. If a dealer takes your car in trade and buys the car from the bank, that's different and you are off the hook.

With the numbers you've provided (and the 36/15 residual of 60%), I get $464/mo before tax.
Base MF this month on the RC350 is .00075, so that is marked up on you ....
Find out what the net cap cost is -- might be higher than what you've been told.
EDIT - oops, I had my spreadsheet set for 39 months, not 36. New payment is $495/mo

The numbers I have seem to be national, so no regional variations that I'm aware of.
Be polite and explain that you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF. Call a couple other Lexus dealers to compare numbers.

Thoughts on this lease quote on a RC-F...? MSRP: $73,500 Negotiate Price: $66,000 MF: 0.0008 Residual: 59% Texas Sales Tax: 6.25% (entire value of car, not just monthly payment) 3 years and 7,500 miles per year. Was quoted about $820/month

If I add the tax to the selling price ($70,125), I get $834/mo.

I confirm the .00080 and 59% lease numbers.
Looks like a solid, if expensive, deal.
Yes, it isn't cheap that's for sure. I feel like there will be better deals to be made on the RC-F, in the months ahead. This car is not moving at all and the dealers have a ton of cars just sitting on their lots in Texas. Could you see the potential to negotiate for a far better price in the months to come?

No idea, but if inventory does start to pile up, anything is possible.
Where do you get all these residuals for different month and mile combinations? I'd love to have a spreadsheet that lists all of that because I like to see all the combinations and how they impact payments.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking- the MF is inflated. I want to say last month when I asked about MF's on a different model, I was quoted a more middle of the road number (I think it was .0017 or something similar on the RX or GS) so it seems odd that this month, the MF I got quoted was wayyyy higher than anyone else was getting. They gave me the same MF on both a GS and RC and said that they don't determine it; lexus does.
That said, since they came back with that; should a simple "I know that the MF should be closer to this number" be enough to get them to fall in line? And I'm guessing, if not, I should definitely find another dealer?

Money factors were different last month, especially on the GS, if I recall correctly.
If you try another dealer, make sure they don't share ownership with this one. Some dealers will be upfront about marking up the MF, but once they lie to you, they generally will keep lying, to save face.
Trying to see if I can get a good deal on leftover 2015 RC350 models now that the 2016 models have arrived. Do you have the Residuals and MF on the RC350 for 2 or 3 year leases, 15k miles?

Discount looks average and in-line with advertised deals.

I was quoted an extremely high MF of 0.0021 for a tier 1 credit rating.
Does MF matter by model? I'm looking at a 2015 IS 250 or 2016 IS 200T. I'm also eyeing the left-over 2015 RC 350's.
I don't want to pay above a 0.00105 MF.
There are also about 11 RC 350's at each dealer left over from 2015. Not sure what kind of price deduction I could get off one of these.
I'm also looking to put 0 down.
Thanks!
