Yes, it did. But, the lease cash went up by $1025. That makes it a wash, on a $25K vehicle.

That's one use. Can also be used to offset the up front costs of the lease.

MSRP is MSRP. You negotiate a selling price, just like you would if you were buying a car.

Believe me, any price the dealer agrees to or offers is going to include that lease cash, so be sure to take that into account when negotiating price. Don't expect to negotiate price, then get more money off for the lease cash.

They say mf is 00001?, and residual is $12,842 (which seems low). They also said residual is 49% ( seems low again). Monthly payments are $293. 36 months, 10,000 miles per year.

.00001 MF and 52% residual (49% is for 36/15). If the MSRP is correct, then the residual is $12,852.

In Texas, you pay sales tax on the full selling price. Accessories are non-residualized and should be avoided.

I get $286/mo., rather than $293/mo, but that's pretty close.

Interesting. Msrp is correct. Accessories are already on the car at this location. Window tinting and nitrogen in tires. Higher residual would lower the monthly correct? Is a good deal or should I pass on it. Just think they are playing with the numbers. They ariginally offered $313 and another dealership offered $293. I like the $286!

Yes, a higher residual would result in a lower monthly payment.
