Hello! I am looking for the MF and RV for a 2016 Jeep GC Limited 75th Anniversary Model 4x4 with the V6 (Package 23k), 75th Anniversary Luxury Tech Package and Tow Group.

    36 months
    12k/15k miles
    Location - Columbus, OH

    .00089 and 57% or 55%
I've had 2 dealers come back and say that US Bank is the best financing they can offer on the lease. Why are they not quoting Chrysler Capital? Here is the one of those deals.

    MF: .00120
    Residual: 60%

    MSRP: $46720
    Cap Cost: $40930.76 (Fees:$1078.50)
    Rebate: $4750
    Tax: $376.39
    Holdback:$1372
    Total Gross: $67
    Payment: $505 on 36mo

    Good deal?
That big rebate is only available with an independent leasing bank.
You have a higher MF, but also a higher residual, and a lower selling price after rebate.
That most likely adds up to a lower payment.

Do you have any information in regards to MF and Residuals for Harbor one or U.S. Bank for the JGC Limited or Overland AWD. It seems the dealership is telling me they differ from Chrysler Cap? What do you think......

Good deal? I'm in Chicago 60607. I asked they give he MF and use highest tier credit but they didn't I like that.

Your 10,000 Mile 36 Month lease:

We only have numbers from Chrysler Capital. Third party banks often have higher MF and lower residuals, but offset that with larger lease incentives to bring down the cap cost.

You'd have to run all the numbers to see which gives you the best deal.

The only issue with third parties is that they aren't as vested in keeping you as a customer, so the end of lease charges may be different (read: higher) than from Chrysler.

I'm surprised anybody living in Chicago is leasing ... the taxes are a killer.

The 36 month deal is certainly better. And, I confirm the math on both deals. MF is not being marked up, which is good.

    Hello there,

If I could get the MF & Residual for 3 Jeep vehicles in Massachusetts. The 1st is a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V6 & 4WD, the 2nd is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4-door & last, a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willy's Wheeler 4-door. Looking at 39 month leases w/ 12k a year. Most likely leased through Chrysler Capital since I currently lease through them.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, could I please have the money factor and residual for both the 2015 and the 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 and the 2016 75th Anniversary limited -- all would be 18,000 miles and both 24 months and 36 months? I want to see if there are any possible deals out there. My zip is 10606.

Thanks in advance because I know it's quite a few requests. I'm on Fusion #2 after a 2000 GC Laredo, parents' 2004 GC Laredo, and a 1996 GC Limited I had until 16 years/200k miles before Fusion #1, but Fusion #2 is a nightmare, and I want out! :)

There is no 2015 75th Anniversary edition; 2015 was Jeep's 74th anniversary. :sunglasses:

2016 Limited and 75th have the same numbers - .00089 and 55% for 36/15. Extra miles are charged up front, at the rate of, we think, .15-.25 per mile, and deducted from the calculated 15K residual.

2015 Limited numbers are not competitive.

Thank you! I did differentiate just the 2016 Limited 75th Anniversary -- " both the 2015 and the 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 and the 2016 75th Anniversary limited." ;)

My aunt/uncle/cousins got a Limited 75th anniversary this week (they share a car in Manhattan), and it's beautiful! A dealership here in Westchester is running some interesting promotions, and I get an affiliate discount through work, so I'm curious as to what I'll get. I'll report back after I go!

Thank you. They got back to me and the MF is .00105 and the RV is $25,519.20(49%). Does this seem right? Doesn't quote match up to what was provided here. Is the RV calculated off the MSRP or the final selling price? Thanks

Does Jeep (or Chrysler Capital), allow you to put multiple security deposits down to reduce the MF? If so, how many do they allow, and what is the reduction for each?

That was probably the worst leasing experience EVER in my life.

I went in, and I said I was interested in a GC. I didn't look like a schlub or anything. I look a little young for my age, but not like a teenager or anything (I'm in my early 30s). I was pushed toward a Cherokee, not a GC. I said, "Fine, I'm interested in both." The salesman said I could drive both, and we took out a Cherokee first. We came back in, and rather than getting the keys for the GC, he had me sit down at his desk and run numbers for the Cherokee...okay.

I have the affiliate program through work and gave him the control number, seeing that he clearly wasn't going to negotiate with me. I knew that there was a $2,500 incentive, and the affiliate program takes about $2,000 off, so it's roughly $2,500 off a $35,000-ish car, so let's call it $30,500.

I asked for 15,000 miles, and he comes back at $415 a month with me putting $1,000 down (NY requires you to pay the tax for the lease up-front, and the way it's calculated, you pay a lot more than you would if you paid tax on the monthly payment. If your car is stolen or a tree falls on it, even a week into the lease, NY says "oh well," and you don't get the money back, so I finance my taxes and put $1,000 down as a swap, because I'd get that back through insurance -- taxes are my job, so I know what I'm doing.).

Are you freaking kidding me? $415 a month on a car that is only $30,000? I asked him what residual he was using, and he said "around $18,500." That's about 60%. So what on earth is the money factor he was using? He wouldn't tell me. That's an MF of about 0.0018, when the Cherokee Limited 4x4 MF should be about 0.00005; they didn't run my credit or ask me about it, but considering that I told him my payment on a Fusion Titanium AWD (with options) is $347 a month, he should assume top tier credit. They really tried to play me.

That's aside from the fact that I showed him their ad for both the Cherokee and the GC, and even though I told him I know it's subject to stock/availability/etc., they advertised Limited 4x4s for both with a $7600 dealer/manufacturer contribution and a MUCH lower payment. They had matching down payments advertised, as well. Their ad had a Cherokee Limited 4x4 sign and drive for $279 a month: http://pictures.dealer.com/w/whiteplainscdjcllc/1596/0ebbee71dc4a1304c4482a592fe2e5e8x.jpg. Yes, the mileage is 7,500 a year, but when you factor in my down payment and that they advertised double down payments plus my affiliate discount, that should more than add up to my 15,000 mileage requirement.

Here's the other ad with the dealer contributions: http://www.whiteplainscars.com/images/specials/current/jeep-01.jpg. (Yes, there's a down payment on this one, but when you factor in the matching down payment and the affiliate discount, then ad in $30 per $1000, the numbers still don't match anywhere near $415; it was $280 at most, and the GC should be about $330.)

Their ad also had a GC Limited 4x4 sign and drive with everything I wanted except for the blindspot system for $379 a month. The same things go for the mileage, and I would also want the blindspot system, which is a minor cost.

I mentioned the ad for the Cherokee, and he said, "this is the cost." He was also trying to push a Trailhawk on me in white with black leather (the one I test drove), when it's not what I wanted!

I told him the numbers did not add up, and why would I get less of a car, a less expensive car than what I have now, but pay $70 a month more? He had the gall to tell me, "well maybe you should consider an Altitude." Excuse me? That has NOTHING that I want in the car. I drive a car that is MORE THAN $10,000 more than that! Let me decide what I can pay, and aside from that, you REFUSED TO SHOW ME THE CAR I CAME IN TO SEE! I told him from the start that I've had THREE GRAND CHEROKEES in the past, too. Yes, the newer ones are totally different from the 1993-1998 and 1999-2004 models, but give me a break; it was obvious I knew a lot about cars and leasing.

So, has anyone else had a dealer try to play him or her like this? I am disgusted that this is what happened when I tried to come back to Jeep.

Also, anyone in NY/NJ/CT have a fantastic dealer? UGH. Awful!

No, that doesn't seem right. Residual is always a percentage of full MSRP.

UGH. Awful!
They are all terrible to deal with, I play around with a bunch of them online first to see who bites and its avoided a lot of hassle on my last 3 cars.
I just got a GC limited 75th anniversary with Msrp of $46,720 for 399 a mo, 36/10, Rt 4 Paramus. I put 2k total down, which was taxes, fees, etc.

Thank you. They got back to me and the MF is .00105 and the RV is $25,519.20(49%). Does this seem right? Doesn't quote match up to what was provided here. Is the RV calculated off the MSRP or the final selling price? Thanks

No, that doesn't seem right. Residual is always a percentage of full MSRP.
They are using US Bank on the lease quote. Why would their MF be so much higher and a lower RV than what was provided here? Thanks

USBank has to make actual money on financing the lease, unlike a captive bank. However, in exchange for Chrysler Capital not getting stuck with this lease, Chrysler gives the dealer a big IDL rebate, which in theory means the dealer can give you a much lower selling price on a USBank lease, hopefully more than making up the difference.

Wow, that's amazing @jbrewha74! Thanks so much. That's a much better deal than I've seen anywhere, and it makes the $415 I was offered on a Cherokee even more ridiculous. I think that with the affiliate discount I get through work and getting a regular limited, I can option it with what I want, go to 15k, and be just under that, maybe $375 after taxes. All I want are a sunroof, blindspot, and navigation, which brings it to $43,500 -- technically $90 a month less than yours out the door.

Any particular salesperson to ask for? Thanks again!

    24/15 - .00017 and 59%

Assuming you pay all fees up front and the selling price is the cap cost. I get $558/mo for 24 months and $457/mo for 36 months.

Both of these are before tax.
