1. Have there been any changes to these numbers from mid June. We are going to the dealer this weekend and lease and I want to make sure my numbers are correct.
I am looking for MF and residual for 2016 Murano SL with the technology package. 36m/12k mileage MSRP of $41,215 NorCal- Bay Area Thanks
.00040 and 54%
2. Is there any difference in the numbers for the Platinum package? 3. Does anyone have any numbers on the new Murano Hybrid? Purchase price, leasing etc.? I am seeing them on the lot in California. They look to the mostly the SL model but a few have the Platinum Hybrid.
Thanks Liz
1. .00019 and 53% for July 36/12 2. No difference; all Murano trim levels have the same numbers this month 3. 2017 Murano Hybrid 36/12 - .00220 and 48%
Can you let me know what MF and residual are for 2016 Murano SL AWD? I'm located in SE PA. I think cap cost will be around $36K, what would monthly payment be based on that?

What lease term? How many miles per year? What is the MSRP?
Hi Everyone. I am looking at a 2016 Nissan Murano Platinum FWD w/Tech Package. The deal I have on the table is (in Florida):
MSRP: $42,630 Sale Price: $36,406 Term: 36 months Mileage: 15k Total OOP: $2k Monthly Payment: $435 (including 6.5% tax)
My questions are: 1. Does this seem like a good deal (are the numbers right)? 2. I know next month is a gamble but I have another month on my current lease. Am I better off waiting (will the deals/MF/residuals be better or worse)? 3. Anyone know what the changes are for 2017 and when the new cars start to arrive?

.00019 MF and 52% residual
That gives me $406/mo.+tax, if the CAP cost is the same as the selling price (and, it appears to be).
Thanks for the info. I am still negotiating between a couple of dealers so I will make sure to get the missing $625 accounted for (one dealer has $695 for "doc fees", $60 for a "surcharge" and another $450 for "non-tax fees"; they are being a little cagey about breaking out what those are.
I know I am asking you to look into the future but - historically - I know the 2017s could potentially come out in September. What traditionally happens to the MFs and the Residuals as we get closer to the new car releases?

Hard to say ... depending on inventory levels, they could sweeten the numbers to help move inventory.
Do you have the August numbers yet? If so, I am looking for the Residual/MF for a 2016 Murano Platinum W/ Tech package for 36/12K for both FWD & AWD in zip code 92057.
Also, I looked at a Hybrid. The dealer said that they do not lease well these days. Are the numbers the same on a hybrid?

Current Nissan numbers expire today ... new numbers should be available later this week.

.00024 and 53%
Thanks! Based on these numbers I'm thinking I'd be able to get a platinum somewhere in the mid 300s per month. Am I crazy or missing something? Tax caps at $300 here in SC
No idea. What MSRP and selling price?
Have to love that $300 sales tax.
Not sure yet. The one I was looking at had a MSRP close to 40k. Hoping for a sale price around 35. Have gotten to talk to a dealer yet just basing that on the Edmund's price promise number ....
Hi again - is it normal for the money factor to go up 60 basis points if I'm bringing in $4933 of negative equity into a lease on a vehicle with MSRP 42,600 and Selling Price 36,429?
The dealer confirmed the .00023 for SE Florida (33410 zip) but says it goes up 60bp with that trade-in.

It's possible if you go over a certain percentage of MSRP, then that is the case. But, I'd sure try another dealer before I signed on for that.
I wouldn't trade out of a lease with that much negative equity, either.

I was able to work it out though and keep the .00024! At such a low interest rate, it was easier for me to spread the $4,933 over 3 years.
Thanks to the mods and everyone for your help. Using the App Store App Leasematic, and your advice here in the forum, I knew every single number in play. The dealer's quote matched within pennies once I told him my desired MF and residual!!! He was quite surprised with my prep....
In addition, I did a price match from a TrueCar dealer to save $7100 off MSRP while keeping the true MF and residual without markup or padding.

So, I did a lease deal on a 2016 Murano and I felt like I got a good deal (including an extended warranty to bridge the gap between 36k and 45k since I got 15k per year for 3 years). Got a call from the finance guy saying that they missed a signature on one of the forms and asking me to re-sign the Lease Agreement saying nothing had changed. I got the new paperwork and the lease terms are exactly the same.
However, the only changes I can see are:
The "Agreed Upon Value of the Vehicle" is higher on the new paperwork because they apparently rolled the Doc Fee of $799.95 into the Agreed Upon Value of the Vehicle (which was a separate item in the Total Gross Capitalized Cost) plus two additional charges $49.95 and $479 for some other fee I was probably stupid enough to pay (they labeled it as "Other" on the lease agreement, I didn't catch it at the time and I don't remember what it was).
Gross Capitalized Cost, Adjusted Capitalized Cost, Residual Value, Total of Payments, Amount Due at Lease Signing are all exactly the same.
My question is: Is this some kind of scam that I can't see? Or did the dealer mess up their original paperwork and they put something in the wrong place and now they won't get paid properly if they don't fix it?
No way should you pay a $800 doc fee. That's way high. The $479 and $49 is more gravy for them. You should of shopped this deal around. You can do better. What trim did you lease and what is your payment?
Sorry I wasn't clear about it. I did the deal 3 weeks ago and have been driving the car ever since.
But I did shop it around (including on this site) and ended up getting better than I had originally posted (Platinum w/Tech Package + Nissan Gold Warranty for the extra mileage, 15k miles per year, 36 months, $2k total OOP, $431 per month with tax in Florida). I know I can always have done better but I am fairly content with the deal I did.
The big question is why they are asking me to sign new paperwork after the fact (even though the cash, payment and major lease numbers are all identical) and whether or not I should sign it?
Sorry, 2 additional details then I promise I will shut up and listen for a response:
1. I have read about the "bad credit" scam where the person signs and drives away and then the dealer says "You didn't pass the credit check so you didn't qualify for the incentives we thought you would; you need to come redo the deal." I don't have any credit issues so I don't think that is why they sent me the new paperwork.
2. As I was thinking about it, it looks like the only changes between the original paperwork and the new paperwork are that they took fees that were previously broken out separately (under insurance, coverages and warranties) and rolled them up to inflate the "Agreed Upon Value of the Vehicle". Since the Gross Capitalized Cost, payments, residual, and cap cost reduction did not change, why would they want to inflate that number?
Again, I'm just trying to figure out whether or not I should/need to sign this paperwork so if there is anyone with insights into the dealer finance area, I would be grateful for the advice.

If the net of this is that the monthly payment didn't change, and they aren't asking you to come up with any more money, then there shouldn't be a problem signing the new paperwork.
It may have been a legitimate clerical error with where the amounts were placed on the contract.
Hi, I am interested in the Residual & MF for a 2016 Murano Platinum, FWD for 36/10k and 36/12k. I am located in Miami, FL. Thank you very much for your help.

$2000 OOP?
$435/mo. 1st payment
$595 acquisition fee
$300 title/license fees?
What is the other $625?
Overall, looks like a pretty good deal.
