Toyota doesn't offer 10K lease terms; 36/12 numbers are 61% residual. No specific MF for Colorado, I see a range of .00075 to .00118

Thanks! So does a range from .00075 to .00118 mean that a given dealer can choose a higher rate to increase their profit while another dealer may go with a lower rate? Or would there be some sort of guideline where dealers would generally offer a given customer an identical or very similar rate? I talked to a couple of dealers today and they both quoted the .00118 number.

No.. it just means that we don't have the specific numbers for Colorado, and the other figures are from other regions.

We show 66% residual, but I'll defer to the dealer.

The 36 month residual is just 6% lower.. would make for a much lower payment.

Is the money factor really that high for Tier 1+ credit these days? In 2014, I received 0.00042.

Is the money factor really that high for Tier 1+ credit these days? In 2014, I received 0.00042.

I show 59% for the XSE - residuals are not fractional numbers, and cannot be modified by the dealer.

While I don't have the Central Atlantic Toyota numbers, I do see .00144 as the MF in other regions.

The Corolla is getting popular, and Toyota recognizes that with the higher MF.

Are you paying the taxes and fees up front, or are they part of the $21,xxx cap cost?

To get to that payment, you need a CAP cost of about $16,500.
That makes your selling price around $17,300, I think..

That's not bad.. Don't feel like you need to put $2000 upfront. They just do that to make the payment seem lower. You should be able to pay $200 at signing, and keep your payment under $200/mo.

So I don't think we got as great a deal as ronk2659, but I think we came out ok. We got two leases and our credit scores had dropped since we just closed on a mortgage and a line of credit. This is in KY. They put us in Tier 3 credit at first, but dropped us to Tier 2 when I was ready to walk and "run the numbers" myself. Hopefully in 3 years, our scores will be back up to Tier 1 rate.

Both are 12k/36 months. We put $1,500 down on each, got $1000 lease cash and $1,500 down payment included first month payment.
