I am using Edmunds calculator to compute my "true" monthly payments. I got the online quote from one of the local dealers for Corolla LE. It mentions Bonus Cash of 1500.
I am not entirely sure if this amount is to be considered as an incentive or this just refers to the difference between MSRP and Cap. cost? (They have only mentioned MSRP in the quote)

Toyota bonus cash is usually only good for a purchase, not a lease.

You can't calculate a lease payment without the selling price and/or adjusted CAP cost.

Thanks for the response. The quote is only for the Lease and not purchase. Moreover, the quote specifically says that "Bonus Cash is available towards leasing.". I will try to confirm it with the dealer.

I had another question about GAP insurance since Toyota doesn't provide one.
Is it mandatory? I know it would be better to have it for my own protection but can dealer mandate me to purchase it either through them or external insurance agency?

Mandatory? No. So long as you understand the risk by not having it.

We don't have Arizona, but see MF in the .00111-.00119 range, elsewhere, and it seems all regions have $1000 of lease cash on this model.

As I said, I am not sure about the MSRP and I just googled it and put it here.
Here is what they provided me:
Agreed upon value of the vehicle: 18425$
Initial Title, License and Registration Fees: 371.5$
Acquisition Fee: 650$
DEQ Waste Tire Fee: 10$
Gross Capitalized Cost: 19456.5 (sums of the above mentioned)

Also, Toyota has this 1000$ "Rebate and noncash credit" which they apply. So I assumed "the Agreed upon value of the vehicle" is 17425 in comparison to the deal that I got from Honda for Civic 2017
For Civic I got:
the negotiated value of the vehicle: 17500$ (apply 61% for residual value)
Down payment: 2500$
Monthly payment 152.5$

To evaluate a deal, it's important to have all of the information. The MSRP is a good place to start.

Not sure if you have current numbers for Florida, but if so do you have MF, RV, and incentives/rebates for XLE 36/10?

Otherwise, could you supply an approximate range? I saw an earlier post that gave for MO 58% and .00144.

On a side note, if it's impossible to know what the MF and RV are, how can I be sure the dealer isn't padding the numbers?

Sorry, but we don't have numbers for the SET region.

I like to check with 3 or 4 dealers that are independent of each other. If you keep getting the same answer, then that's probably right.

What trim level?

Toyota offers 24 month residuals.

I believe those two incentives can combine.

Yes you can combine grad rebate with lease cash. I have done that in my Corolla deal

As for MF, my credit likely tier 2 (695).

57%/56% residual for LE/XSE for 36/15.

Don't have the program for either of those areas, so can't tell you which would be best. Columbus has plenty of Toyota dealers, so competition there might result in a better price.

Corolla money factors vary from .00001-.00090, around the country for top tier. Tier 2 money factors are generally another .00055 higher than top tier.
