2017 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4, MSRP 39790, capitalized cost 37288, with all incentive/rebates, and $2000 down (first month payment included), Adjusted capitalized cost 30859; 36 mth lease, 15000 mile/yr. Final monthly payment 323/ Month with a money factor of .00009.
Is this a good deal? Is the MF too high? how much is the residual?

.00009 and 50% for 36/15
I get $309/mo plus tax, so $323/mo looks to be right.

I've been casually following this topic over the last month because this car is on my list and I'm interested to see how the residual values shake out as I get closer to turning in my Audi.
Maybe I was being too optimistic but I expected larger dealer discounts on these. I made up a workbook for my next purchase and on my Grand Cherokee tab the closest dealer has the same one, and others. that I initially put my eye on three months ago. They don't seem to be moving much stock. With such a low residual value they arent a real good lease opportunity.
Even with a base money factor is that all they are willing to discount from sticker before applying the rebate?
agreed July incentives were a disappointment to say the least. With 2018 order banks open and marketing launch for 2018 models in September I'd think August incentives will be higher than June/July
inventory levels of JGC Ltd 4x4 in MN are really high compared with other sub models i.e. Laredo, Altitude, Overland and Summit and seem to be the best model to lease/purchase, but somethings gotta give in the near term.

Closest dealer to me has at least 12 LTD's on the lot, a few Overland, and a Trailhawk with the Hemi but nothing else in terms of options. I would want either a Overland w/Active Safety or Trailhawk w/Active Safety & Trailhawk Luxury. There's a few dealers in the area that have examples that meet that criteria, it just depends if they start discounting them more to makeup for the low residual. If they offer a strong dealer discount and incentives improve I would give serious consideration to buying now.

Don't expect much movement on the MF - they are already about as low as they can go.
The residual values are likely to go down over the next few months, as they get older and older.
The only real maneuver left is to increase the incentives available, which is the one piece of the puzzle we don't have any visibility into.

Oh I don't anticipate that dropping farther, it's almost free money now. I'm not entirely surprised by RV dropping at this time of year....seems my lease is expiring at the wrong time. The the 2 FCA vehicles I was going to look at (JGC me, Durango wife) wouldn't seem to lease particularly well right now so it's likely they will be shelved unless there is some deep discounting, I'll find out in the 2-3 weeks when I start shopping. The sweet spot for them seems to have been end of 1st quarter, beginning of 2nd quarter.

Looking for MF, RV, and estimated Invoice on GC Limited with Lux II in New Jersey. Trying to see if typical negotiated price in this area is above/below invoice and by how much. Thanks!

What term and mileage allowance?

Can I get the residual and money factor for 2017 Laredo Altitude 4x2 v6 In Palm Beach County Florida please 36 mos and 15k miles? I pay way too much for my Mazda6 2015, and I dont want to make the same mistakes. I have no idea how to keep the dealer honest though and make sure they are showing all of their cards. The sticker I'm looking at says it costs $38,325. Can I negotiate the price of the car from there? At this point in the year is $345 a month crazy to ask for? Is even that amount too much? I am so stressed out with this, and any expert advice would be greatly appreciated.

Negotiate your best price - use the 'make / model / year' pull downs at the top of the page to get your target price.
Then, have the dealer disclose all the fees they are adding in (big doc fees in Florida). At that point, we can help you model a payment and compare to the number you are being quoted.
Any suggestions regarding recommended/target discount from MSRP (PRIOR to any incentives/rebates) on a GC 4x4 Limited or Trailhawk? 7-10% off MSRP before incentives? I have a dealer who claims no hassle/no negotiation pricing and 7.5-8% off. Not haggling is appealing, but I'm wondering if I could do better with a dealer who truly negotiates. Thanks for any advice!

Does adding options affect residual at all?
Options don't affect the residual percentage, but of course, a higher MSRP will have a higher residual dollar amount.
