I get about $218/mo.+tax, with that adjusted CAP cost. Do you really need 18K/yr? The extra 3000 miles per year adds about $23/mo.+tax to the payment. If you skip the CAP cost reduction, you'll have $971 more in your pocket, but of course the payment goes up to $246/mo.+tax

If he will be driving a lot of miles, why not just buy outright? That way, he can drive as many miles as he wants without penalty.
