Thankyou!! This is incredibly helpful. My son will be doing a lot of driving for work. I think better to err on side of too many miles. But it sounds like otherwise you think it's a reasonable deal?

If he will be driving a lot of miles, why not just buy outright? That way, he can drive as many miles as he wants without penalty.

If you've gotten an offer from the dealer, it likely includes the lease cash.

Use the knowledge of it to negotiate your best price.

Is 55% residual correct?

Hard to say - what is the MSRP and selling price?

And, with the tax in VA on the entire selling price, that will make your payment more expensive.
