Just picked up a 2017 X5 xDrive 3.5i. Walked into the dealer mid-afternoon on Labor Day and it was pretty empty so I caught them at a good time.
Armed with everything I learn on this forum I believe I got a good deal that I hope helps others who are looking.

    MSRP $71,170

That is a great deal. You got around 11% off msrp before the incentives. What state did you get the vehicle in?

Ok, thank you. What are the numbers on the 2017 X5 for 36 months, 10,000 miles per year. Does the trim level matter?

    MSRP: $89,795
Sale Price: $79,400 ($10,395 off! - includes $3,000 lease cash, $1,000 corporate discount, and the rest is the discount to invoice price)
    Money Factor: .00154
    Residual: 58%
Total out of pocket: 2,500 - first month's payment, taxes, title, tag, etc.
    Payment: $900/month.

I get $961/mo with those numbers, so your $900/mo quote looks pretty good by comparison.

Are there any loyalty incentives from bmw when leasing an x5? I'm currently leasing a 5 series and was hoping there was some loyalty discount that can be applied toward my potential x5 lease.

    $10K off, before incentives! Wow....

I get $585/mo plus tax, so looks to be in the ballpark.

Hi guys/gals, my dealer offered me a 2017 X5 msrp $61,445 for $9K off which includes all incentives, with MF .00191 for 36m/10k with 58% residual. Any thoughts on whether I should take it?

I have 5 payments of $378 on my existing 5 series lease, BMW is covering 3 payments, I have to cover 2 payments.

I don't want to nitpick for few hundred dollars if the deal is good. On the other hand, I don't mind waiting till end of year if the deal is not good (its the principle !)

Decent discount but marked up MF to compensate. Ask them what discount they are willing to give with the base MF of .00152 this month.

Why pull the trigger now, and add $750 ($21/mo) to your new lease payment?

Be advised that 2017 inventory is shrinking - if you wait, you may not get the color or equipment you want.

    Decisions, decisions.

What % reduction off MSRP should I target before incentives? If it balances out over lease term then I don't mind paying higher MF if the upfront discounts are deeper.

I was planning to revisit my lease renewal around thanksgiving (when I have 3 payments left that BMW will cover) but the dealer called today to see if I was open if he could cover my 2 payments with a slightly deeper discount. If the math does not make sense then I will wait.

Will the discounts get any better during Thanksgiving or Christmas?

Did anyone else who bought a 5 series or X5 recently get any loyalty discount?

Push for better numbers. That sounds too high. Try other dealers in other states if possible 66 to 60k inc rebate is a very small discount especially on 2017. People are getting 8-10% reported in other threads. Check out the member who posted 5.0 deal he got.

Generally, we suggest 7% off sticker, but you're already much better than that.

As noted earlier, discounts may be better in a few months, but inventory will certainly be smaller.

OK, this is the lease discussion, so I thought I'd clarify.

I don't have any pricing advice, but others seem to think 8-10% off sticker, but before incentives is possible.

    Can't hurt to ask.

Hello, what are the current RV and MF for 12k/36 and 15k/36 lease in NJ for 2017 X5 xDrive35i, xDrive35d and xDrive40e please? What would be the difference in monthly payment between 12k and 15k?

    Any info on 2018 x5?

    Thank you in advance

    Hello everyone:

I received the following lease offer. I'm awaiting a breakdown of the due at signing. Can I have your thoughts? It's for a 2017 X5 sDrive 35i with Driver Assist package. Thank you in-advance.

    $58,995.00 MSRP
    $55,605.00 Factory Invoice
    $54,605.00 Internet Price
    36 month lease
    10k miles/year
    $34,217.10 residual (58%)
    .00152 MF (OAC)
    $3,000 lease rebate
    $51,605.59 net cap cost
    $613.46/mo plus tax
    $2,482 total due at signing

    I get the same payment.

    $925 acquisition fee
    DMV fee
    Doc fee
    1st payment
    Tax on the $3000 rebate

It'll probably add up to $2482

Yeah, my calculated payment matched his too which made me think he's not pulling anything. Thank you for breaking down the fees. What do you think of the deal? Do you think there's more room there?

I don't really track pricing. But, you are a little over 7% off MSRP, minus the rebate. With no markup to the money factor. That's generally what we recommend you shoot for on a BMW. It never hurts to ask for a little bit more.

Ok, I hope to get an additional $1,500-$2,000 off. We'll see what happens.

Thank you for your insight, this forum has been invaluable.

I get the same payment, with those numbers. If you're comfortable with the selling price (9.25% off sticker), all looks good.

    Thank you Michaell.

They actually didn't know the sDrive they offered me was sold already so they gave me an xDrive for the same payment amount. I scored 10% off MSRP before incentives and a base MF rate. Based on the deal I got, I'm pretty happy.

Again, thanks for all your and kyfdx's help, your advice and information was invaluable.

byrdgirlclone, I scored my deal at Irvine BMW here in Orange County, CA. Got the base MF, great discount and the incentive on top of it all.

Terry was awesome and was forthright with all the information. Ask for him and I'm sure he'll take care of you.
