    You guys are dancing all around it but you're all a little off but you have a good excuse.
    It's a 1966 Chrysler 300/383,. Unlike the "letter cars" that preceded it the '66 lacked the tricolor circle in the middle of the grille and the stomping hot Hemi under the
    hood as well as the successive letter code. The 300 Letter cars were often thought of as the original muscle cars but by the mid 60s the really hot MoPars were found in Dodges and Plymouths.

    '66 was the second year for non-letter cars. In '65 the 300 was produced along side the 300L/413.

    Those Chryslers can be hard to discern. I'd go 67 or 68. The chrome on the side makes an Imperial possible or a New Yorker?

    As far as I can tell the letter cars went to the 413 wedge in the 300E.

    Pretty good clue but Wikipedia sez 570 made (might be counting non-letter 300s made the same MY).

    Is the 62 Chrysler really all that worse looking than the 61? Main difference is do away with the rear fins.

    Only 435 of those shown in your photo were built.
    There were 135 convertibles built also = 570.

    Ya know, I'd have to say it looked better w fins, they draw the eye away from the hideous nose (identical in both years!)

    Porsche C88. Kind of cheating as it wasn't in real series production. In the mid 90s, the Chinese government sent a proposal to Porsche to make an ordinary car. This was it, with a nice "88" to bow to local superstition. Apparently, the car was examined, and rejected, but per Porsche, some of the tech was "borrowed". They also pitched it to India, who also didn't snap it up. Now it sits in the museum.

    Never heard of it before but that's a cool bit of history. Maybe if Porsche had refused to offer it to a foreign market then its design would have stolen and produced in vast numbers. :D

    I can't recall if there has been a copycar Porsche - there was an egregious BMW X5 knockoff anyway.

    212 Inter --- nah, he's buried in it because he bought it only a few years ago. The market for very early Ferraris is slim, because they aren't all that much fun to drive. But yeah, some models/types can be quite valuable, like the early open cars. Most are easily worth over $1 mil.

    Andys, I liked the 60 Chrysler best of all those three years (and maybe the 60 Desoto even more). All those Chryslers had the really neat globe instrument panel that had the cool backlit gauges).

    Far left (on my screen at least), 60 Chevy Flat Top and 64 Rambler in first row, second row is a 64 Pontiac and a late 50's/early 60's Dodge equivalent to a Suburban in 3rd row.

    '65, newest car, like you said, unless that Beetle is newer, could never tell with them...but the VW has covered headlights, that make is pretty old, I think.

    Yep, that '65 Chevy Impala (6 t/ls) is the newest identifiable car. The VW could also be a '65
    (mine had covered h/ls--they all did until '68).

    I think it is in the very last row, but can't tell what it is. There is a 59 Cadillac to its left, then a 58 Pontiac and 62 Olds 98.

    Because of the diagonal C pillar and the passenger windows' being elongated on the bottom, I thought old GM, possibly a '48 Olds.

    Then Fintail mentioned MoPar. I hadn't checked out Desoto. I did and there it was. The trunk of the '46 was a match. Vertically, the emblem, thick reflector or brake light (?), license plate, and trunk handle. Throw in the gas cap too.
