I think the $3000 is to the customer, and will show up on the contract as a down payment
The $8100 is a dealer incentive that will lower the selling price of the car.
I'm being told by a dealer that the residual value dropped 1% since March 5 here in SoCal (zip 92626). So on 3/5 was 41% and now 40% on 2018 Clarity Base. Is this true? I thought MF and RV are typically good through the whole month?

We don't show any supported lease programs on the 2018 models. But, it's possible that the dealer has different information.
New programs start on 04/02, so the 04/01 they are referring to is the end date of the current program.
