    At the end of the lease term, if the car is out of the money, should you just turn it in and pay fees? Any reason it would help to negotiate a new lease with a different dealer?

    Very rarely is the market value of a leased car more than the contracted residual value. Best to just turn it in and start again with a new lease.

    But - it can't hurt to look. Use Vroom, Carvana and CarMax to get buy bids. One of them might surprise you.

    These are my numbers for a 2019 maxima platinum lease.  
    $42335 msrp
    selling price with all Incentives 34541
    49 % residual 
    .00003 money factor
    i live in WI for tax calculations. 

    Was quoted $479 sign and drive.  Zero due. That includes first payment.   Is there math correct ??  Good deal?
