    Has anyone been able to get the dealer to reduce sales price by federal clean car rebate amount when negotiating a lease even when the maker is not offering it as "lease cash"?

    When you lease, you do not get the tax credit, the leasing bank does.

    Often, but not always, that incentive is passed through to the customer in the form of other incentives, or through a higher residual.

    Doesn't look like either is the case, here.

    Might be a good argument for a purchase, rather than a lease.

    Hi. Looking at Prius IV - I guess 2018 is all that is available, correct? 2019 not really out at dealers. In Los Angeles. Excellent credit. 36/12. What is money factor, residual and any incentives that I should expect, please? My wife is looking at Prius vs Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. Thanks.

    Correct.. no lease info on the 2019 Liftback

    .00080 MF and 46% residual
    No lease incentives.

    I don't think the Prius is going to lease very well. You might have better luck with the Clarity.
