This would be our second Forester bought from them, and they claim the Subaru factories in the US and Japan are closed so they are not getting any more inventory. We may head up to Wisconsin and see if we can get closer there (sales tax is cheaper).

You have to pay sales tax in the state where you register the vehicle. If you are an Illinois resident, you won't save on sales tax by buying in WI (unless there is a local sales tax you are avoiding).
