    I've also attached the initial offer which was 39mo/15k to get your thoughts on. What is the "Vehicle Profit" in Cap Costs & how is the tax handled on that and for the two dealer cash listed under Profit Section? Something seems off, but can't figure it out.

    I'm sorry for that, I didn't realize the year model they sent me. I don't care either way but I'll post in the 2020 forum as is appropriate. Thank you for the response though.

    Thanks for the additional information. After another round of negotiations I wanted to share a second offer. This is for a 2021 Tiguan SE 4-motion. Specifically looking at 10K/36 months, probably no money down.

    He agreed to bring the MF from .00064 to .00034. Agreed to bump RV from 54% to 56%.
    Unfortunately he’s not budging on sale price. I asked 13% off MSRP. He’s sticking at ~8.6%.

    Thoughts? Appreciate everyone’s help

    They aren't "bumping" the residual. 36 month term is 2% higher residual than 39 month term.

    Seems like a typical deal for that model

    Then that was a mistake. The dealer can't alter the residual. It is set by the leasing bank.
