    Yes, they are marking up the MF for extra profit.

    “We placed the order in but too soon for a production number. “
    That sound right? I have heard stories where dealers say they have allocations but don’t really.

    Yep, they put your order into the “queue” but they don’t have allocation that’s why you don’t have a production number. If they had allocation and could truly order it, you would have production number that same day. Happened to me and I waited 2.5 months for production number. Dealer kept lying to me.

    Btw, where did you get such a great price? Am I counting right that’s close to 11% off MSRP?

    Secondly, are people seeing cars going for under MSRP now? I ordered this car back in May, its finally coming next week and I was told at that time that "factory dealers are selling cars at MSRP and other non factory dealers are marking prices up" - what are people seeing in the current market?

    Hi all,

    My X6 M50i lease is expiring in November and I'm trying to determine if I'm getting a good deal on a proposed new X5 M50i. Here's the info:

    My current 2020 X6 M50:
    Sticker: $89,195
    36/12K lease. 29,000 miles on the car
    Lease buyout amount today: $52,675
    The dealer is offering me $72,000 for this car.

    New 2023 X5 M50:
    Sticker: $102,995
    The dealer won't take anything off the sticker.
    Standard 51% residual, 0.00190 MF
    $1,500 loyalty rebate.

    Can you all tell me if this is a decent deal?
