    Motorcycle #109 at the bottom of the pic seems to be having a minor malfunction. :D

    A few Minis, but not as many as I might have expected. Even fewer ADO16s, but some, so perhaps this was taken not long after they were first introduced.

    I see a couple of Bedford vans, including one that might be a Dormobile camper conversion.

    Anglia at lower left.

    Yes, the 3 wheeler appears to be an early Reliant. The entire field is like a display of period British diecast cars.

    Wagon with rear open surrounded by stuff next to the bike channeling it's inner Ferrari is perhaps a Ford Cortina, I think. Behind that (also behind the Anglia) a Ford Zephyr. Two tone wagon with 50s style side trim maybe a Morris Oxford? Jag S-type at center right next to an ADO16. Just above that to the left is something small, maybe Fiat 500/600 Giardiniera?

    There is another Reliant a couple of rows behind the one in front of the blue VW van.

    That maroon sedan is a mk III Ford Zephyr 4

    In my view they styled it with the 60 Mercury Comet in mind.

    I wondered what that wagon was but it must a Falcon - rare here

    I thought initially was a German Ford Taurus but it is much bigger than almost everything else - except the black Wolseley ahead of it which looks like a Magnette on steroids - that is the 6/90 version used by all the cops in Miss Marple dramas...

    Although there are a reasonable number of cars from the fifties there are few really old ones - the MOT roadworthiness test had had cleared those out by the mid sixties - generally due to our weather and their non-existent rustproofing

    Yes the two tone wagon is a Morris Traveller series IV - the previous versions were woodies so this was the first of their all metal wagons...

    There was never a series IV Oxford saloon

    I agree on that Giardiniera as well and I hadn't thought of that Jag as an S type but I think you are right.

    There's rather a nice Riley RM too,

    3 cars up from the Riley looks like another Reliant, this one a van.

    We’re talking two different cars. That is a Merc behind the taxi. My wagon is in front of the 57 Ford.

    I think the Ford in front of the 57 Ford at bottom of bridge is a 53 or 54. It doesn't have the
    "ears" above the taillights that the 55 and 56 do.

    That Reliant van along from the Riley RM is one of the earliest versions of the Reliant Regal van - you can tell by the larger radiator grille from the one used later

    Back when they were new in the showroom - 1969 or '70 - I absolutely loved the Marauder of that generation. The L-M showroom was nearby and an easy detour on the way home from school. They were very tolerant of us kids going into the showroom and grabbing brochures. I recall they had a Marauder in the showroom and it was just gorgeous to my eyes - dark green metallic with gold seats. I tried the hard sell on Dad for a few weeks with no effect unfortunately.

    Hey, a Monorail is pretty normal in Seattle anyway :)

    Yeah, the Anglia appears to be a panel/van, something seldom seen on this side of the pond.

    There are a couple of 1961 full-size Fords and I believe I see a Fairlane also, so that puts it a year or so after that.

    That red and white 61 Ford 4 door HT is a hen's tooth these days. Looks like a 62 Country Sedan behind that.

    Furriners: red Volvo 122/Amazon with wide whites, small dark blue wagon appears to be a Hillman Husky. I also see the distinct A-pillar of a 61 GM product just above the Volvo.

    Under the Seattle monorail is that a circa1960 DodgePhoenix sedan?

    The van is a Ford Thames 307E or 309E - which was based on the Anglia 105E
    Here it was known as the Thames 307E 5cwt or 309E 7cwt

    Cwt stands for hundredweight which is one of our old pre metric weights - we have forgotten them now mostly. Except the ton

    Daytona Beach - that Husky must have been quite rare then although they were really common here - they outsold the 100E van based Ford Escort in it's day

    The actual Ford vans themselves were far more common than the Commer Cob which was the Rootes Group name for the van the Hillman Husky was based on.

    the 100E van probably outsold the Morris Minor van too I think

    Hillan Mixes were quite popular in the USA around 1959-60 but I've never seen a Husky. I once rode in a
    Humber Snipe!

    Yup, and the other one (white) is a 62, joining the Ford wagon as the newest ones I see.

    As for location, it looks a lot like a Long Island Parkway, based on lamp designs. That could be me in
    the Beetle near the VW bus on the left!
