    Thanks Michaell. Yes, spoke with a few dealers which pushed my local one to be more aggressive on the discount. Money factor is another story.

    I’m not in a huge market so I have to weigh the deal against paying broker or delivery fees.

    If I simply subtract the $9900 incentive from the MSRP and use that as the cap cost, I get $1225/mo plus tax. Tax rate is pretty high in WA, correct? And, that assumes that all taxes and fees are paid up front and not added into the monthly payment.

    I can see the payment jumping to $1400/mo, depending on how the deal is structured.

    Is there any discount from MSRP, before the incentives are applied? How is the $5000 up front being used? I'd get a detailed accounting from the dealer on that.

    Looking to lease a 2024 ix. MSRP is 95595 and the dealer offered $9,900 lease credit and another $4k off MSRP. MF is not inflated and residual is 50% for a 36/15 lease. So overall a reasonable deal in my opinion in California. However, there is a $1,131.89 tax charge and the explanation is that a tax is charged on the rebates. Is that true? Do you pay taxes on rebates in CA?

    You pay upfront sales tax on rebates, almost everywhere.

    I am in Northern Virginia. All dealers out here are charging .00151 as the MF for 2024 BMW iX50. They say that BMW allows that markup on top of .00111. Can I somehow question this? Zip code 20105.

    The dealer is correct; they are allowed, by the bank, to mark up the MF as much as .00040, for extra profit.

    My dealer in VA (20105) insists that the base MF for BMW iX 50 is .00125 and not .00111.

    They also showed me some printout with those rates and mentioned that this is not something they can play around with. Is there any documentation from BMW that I can use to question this?

    I confirm .00111; check with a second dealer to see if they'll give you that rate.

    Anyone have MF/RV and also the payment quote for 78745? I think the payment is important since there is a lot of other things that can get packed into a deal.
