    Lower right, first and second rows near the edge of the pic, a Toyota Landcruiser, 56 Chevy, and what appears to be a Wagoneer. Also a couple Beetles and a VW van in that row.

    Unfortunately the Colorado pic is not of sufficiently good quality to determine much beyond the cluster of vehicles close to the camera. I think that is a 1st-gen Camaro, nose to nose with a mid/late ‘50s Nash wagon, along with a couple of Plymouths I’d guess, a ‘62 and a ‘66 or ‘67 Satellite convertible. I also see a ‘68 full-size Chevy and a Toyota Land Cruiser.

    I think it's from a weird time in Europe when flush/composite lights were a very futuristic new innovation, and some ran with them no matter the implementation. Some worked better than others.

    I agree, but aside from the horrid front clip the later E9 CS used the same roof sides and rear to make one of the prettiest of modern BMWs>

    Still love that color. Believe it was LimeGold on the Fords. Not sure if it stayed the same for Mercurys.

    I think those wheels are ARE "Mags" with painted spokes. Very popular in that era.

    Yeah, 'Torque-Thrust' wheels, I think, but I don't like them on a Cougar, more for a Mustang. I'd prefer these:

    One thing I just noticed. The lead ‘60 Ford seems to have a bit of a lean to the right side.

    Sure are a bunch of nice '60s Continentals there. Unfortunate that the one up front was parked with the wipers in mid-sweep. Oddly enough I never realized Ford designed those wipers to swing towards the passenger side, almost like a RHD vehicle.

    I had also never seen a FoMoCo dealership pylon sign with the Ford logo section designed to rotate like that one.

    When I was a kid, my mother had Pontiacs. The wipers were opposing arms, sweeping towards each other in the center.

    I always thought the "normal" way, with two arms sweeping in the same direction was weird. :o

    The 50s Lincoln on the lot caught my eye, I have to imagine something like that was seriously out of fashion and not desirable in the late 60s, although 50s nostalgia was just around the corner I guess. There appears to be another older car in the row behind it, to the right, a white 59-60 Mercury coupe, perhaps. The hidden headlights Mercury wagon at left looks cool.

    MB started with overlapping/opposing direction wipers with the fintail, and had them in production through the final run W114/115, which ended for the 1976 model year in the USDM - kind of a quirky thing by then. But maybe a MB thing to be attracted to odd wipers, as 70s/80s S-class (W116/126) had an unusual setup, and the W140 had them going the "wrong way" like on that Continental. And then there were several single wiper cars.

    From an effectiveness standpoint, I always liked the opposing wipers that started in the middle and swept outward. Funny enough, I've never had a vehicle that wipes that way, but I found it entertaining to ride in other vehicles that did function that way. IIRC, the Pontiac TransSport was one of those.

    I found it interesting in the 60s, full-size Olds and Pontiac lesser models such as the Dynamic 88 and Catalina had parallel action wipers, while the upper models such as the Super 88/98, Ventura/Bonneville had opposing action wipers. Pontiac did one better in 65 and added articulated wiper arms that provided more coverage and ability for the wiper to reach very close to the windshield pillar. I guess opposing action wipers were considered more upscale?

    I don’t think the ‘59 Pontiac in front of the Rover had rope drive. It does have opposing wipers though.

    I think the possible Mark might be another squarebird?

    Hard to tell what the 60 Ford is, but a Galaxie of some kind. 4 door HT, Sunliner with top up? Does not appear to have a post.

    I think the 60 Ford is a Sunliner, definitely two doors. The three SquareBirds all had a wide chrome strip where the top joined the body. Don’t see one unless it’s hidden by the Caddy.

    I don't think it is Canada because the '59 Pontiac seems to have the wide front tread one found on US Pontiacs and not the skinny tread used on Canadian Cheviacs.
