On a lease, the dealer applies that at the point of sale. No need to wait on it.

I live in Colorado, and I have a good friend who has leased multiple EVs since that credit was introduced. I believe in each case the $5350 was deducted on the contract when the transaction was executed.
But, different dealers may handle the credit differently, I suppose.
Checking back in as we have yet to make a decision. Looking at a 15k/year lease on an Elite in 98208.
Curious to know if there is a 1 pay option?

The one-pay MF reduction is .00080
You'd have to run the numbers for 24 vs 36 months. Big incentives have skew the payment in favor of 24 months, but with the low residuals, it still seems doubtful that 24 months will be better
Does the dealer need to tell customer they are using $3000 dealer lease finance offer?? I got a quote with them discounting the vehicle $3400. The subtracting $7500 federal credit and $2000 Captive Lease offer. No mention of $3000 dealer lease finance offer. Wondering how that works and if I can get another $3000 off.

Nope... that's the dealer's money to do whatever they want with. They don't have to disclose the incentive from Honda
1) Dealers totally should be able to incorporate the CO credit as $5,350 cap cost reduction in a lease quote if you sign it over. (It’s $5,000 if claimed at tax time.) The only reasons one couldn’t do this is if it’d put net cap cost under residual, as would have been the case for my smoking bZ4X deal in April.
2) Listing the $7,500 Fed credit seems weird for ostensible lease quotes unless this is earmarked Honda lease cash: the lessor claims the credit for leases. Plus buyers have to be AGI eligible per the IRA for purchases—it’s not a lease thing!

Plenty of captive banks call their $7500 rebate a tax credit. It's factually incorrect, but very few consumers can see the difference.
