    SUV, sorry for not specifying
    .00350 MF and 63% residual
    No lease incentives
Thank you! I'm new to Porsche leasing (and haven't leased in a while so I don't quite remember the process). If my local dealers are not playing ball (i.e. are marking up the MF), how do I go about finding a dealer that won't try to take advantage of me?
You'll have to expand your search area.

Would you trade a smaller (or no) discount from MSRP in exchange for the base MF? You'd have to run the numbers to see what makes more sense.

Common tactic of Porsche dealers, I'm afraid.

Wait, Porsche will lease cars below MSRP? I've only been quoted numbers based off of MSRP! I'm open to expanding my search area. If anyone has any good dealers willing to sell at/below MSRP and with no MF/Residual markup, please let me know!

Sorry, we don't have any dealer specific insight to share.

But, on slow selling models, wouldn't some sort of discount from MSRP be available? Or does Porsche think that every one of their cars/SUVs is a home run in the market?

Sadly, it's the latter. I can't speak for every dealership in the country, of course, but my experiences in Chicago and Dallas have been that the demand is so high, they don't need to be flexible on pricing. And there's also a component of "it'll hurt the brand" so they'd rather sit on older/slower selling models than risk damaging their reputation. I'll start researching and let you know if I can find any dealers that are willing to be flexible, thanks for the responses!

No. The residual is set by the bank, and the dealer cannot alter it.

Confirm the trim, term and mileage allowance matches what you've asked from us; could be a simple miscommunication.

Hi, can I get the MF, residual and any lease incentives on a Macan S (gas), 39 months, 10k miles per year? I scrolled back a bit and looks like it was .00350 MF and 62% residual in February so not sure if it's changed. Thanks in advance!

Ok. This is what a local dealer gave me, I'd love to get your guys' thoughts.

    2025 Cayenne Base SUV
MSRP: $99,295 (to be clear, they wrote this number in the form they gave me, I haven't seen anything official)
    Selling Price: $95,795
    TX Sales Tax: $5,987.19 (6.25%)
    Fees incl TT&L: $600
    Total Price: $102,381.66
Down Payment: $2504.79 (they are requiring this from me)
    Balance: $99,876.87

    Monthly Payment: $1,682
MF: 0.004 (dealer said they "discounted" the MF for me and that's the lowest they can go)
    Residual: $62,556

The MF is still marked up from the base rate of .00350.

Any other dealers nearby you can work with?

The sales tax hurts, a lot. But, it's Texas, so not much you can do about that.

I don't see the acquisition fee listed anywhere - it's $1095, so hard to miss.

I'd ask for the itemization of the down payment - is that with or without the first payment? Would be good to get clarity on exactly how much is due at signing, and what it covers.

    If I use .00400 MF, I get $1681/mo., so that's spot on.

The "Balance" is irrelevant on this lease.
I used the "Total Price" as the adjusted CAP cost. The $2504 isn't a downpayment, but the amount Due at Signing. 1st payment comes out of that, and likely the lease acquisition fee.

At .00350, the payment would be $82/mo. lower

    Thanks Michaell and kyfdx!

So it sounds like it's not a terrible deal.

I asked and the dealer said that the $2504 is Due at Signing which includes 1st month and fees. I asked where the Lease Acquisition Fee is and he said it's "built into the lease".

I guess I should try to get his MF down a bit more, but if his residual is 2% higher (65% vs 63%), it's probably a wash right?

No, the residual is correct at 63% of MSRP for 39/10

I'm getting 65% when I take $62,556/$95,795 (the selling price). The original MSRP is $99,295, which is 63%, but it looks like they are discounting it a little since the selling price is lower than the MSRP. Or am I doing it wrong?

The money factor markup essentially negates the discount

My apology if this is the wrong forum to ask this question.

For lease from PFS, there is no early payment penalty except some nominal fees. Is this a correct assumption? I plan to lease a 2025 Macan but pay off the remaining balance within a couple of months. My understanding the payoff amount is calculated similar to paying off a loan as only the "principal" owed is needed at payoff.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

That's generally how all leases work. It may take you three months to get car titled and the lease account in place with the bank.

Why are you leasing? Is this an EV?

Yes. It will be for the Macan EV. So I should wait 3 months or so before paying off the lease?

And what will be the term with the lowest MF for 94566 since I will be paying off so minimal interest payment will be ideal.

The monthly interest won't vary by much, no matter what term you choose.

Since you are paying it off early, you may be able to negotiate a HIGHER rate, in exchange for a bigger discount, that would more than make up for the higher interest over just a few months.

Also, for an increase in the money factor, they will waive the $1095 acquisition fee. You should do this, as you'll only pay the extra finance charges for a few months, but will avoid the fee, altogether.

BUT, I don't know if PFS has some way claw back some of that rebate, if you pay off it off early. Also, keep in mind that you'll likely have to pay upfront sales tax on the rebate, plus the Porsche lease acquisition fee.
