Standard listing is $99. With a photoshoot is $429. I gambled that I’d get it back with a better sale price - time will tell. Photographer was good and came to me. We went for an early morning time for the light, and he spent about two hours shooting the car.
That seems well worth it

It’s not mine - it’s my stepdaughter’s. I drive it only to put gas in it, which will happen later today in fact.
She loves it - it’s like an iPhone on wheels. Surround cameras when in reverse, a camera on the dash goes on when the turn signal is used, all the safety Nannie’s.
It’s huge inside - the back seat is positively cavernous. The red leather is striking, and while I loved the matte paint initially, you can’t take it to a commercial car wash. Which means it has to be hand washed with a special shampoo.
The only issue is that she’s getting nowhere near the EPA mileage. A lot of her driving is on the highway, which isn’t the forte of a hybrid. And, she’s got a heavy right foot, which doesn’t help either. I think she’s averaging about 30-32 MPG in the 10 months she’s owned the car.
Highly recommend the vehicle, but I don’t think the red interior is available with any other paint color. She wanted white with a black interior, but this was what we found.

It’s funny how subjective things like interior room are. I’d describe the Sportage as a compact SUV with decent but not great back seat room. Putting 2 car seats back there is very cramped, for example, and it’s pretty tight as is for 3 adults. The trunk is very large and holds a lot. It’s a great travel vehicle for us and our dog. Love the cameras and safety features. We have the PHEV so it may be a little tighter to accommodate the battery.
When I need to carry more people, that’s when we take the Blazer EV.
'24 Chevy Blazer EV 2LT
The GLI saga gets more fun. There are no parts available for repair anywhere, no ETA from the supplier or VW as to when there will be any, and not even an ETA for an ETA.
Things are getting interesting with insurance but I’m not going to share more at this point until I see where things are going.
When I need to carry more people, that’s when we take the Blazer EV.
So, I took it to get gas. On the 1.8 mile drive home, the MPG-o-meter read 42.7. If my daughter could just keep it in EV mode in the neighborhood, I believe the overall average would go up.

Michael, I’m curious what mpg my daughter gets on her new CX50 hybrid. Lots of in town living in Boston! I’ll ask her.
My maverick is around half a tank low (which is about 250 miles in). Mixed driving. Lot of local hops and some highway when we run down to see the baby (er, our son). And that’s sitting right about 43 on the tank. Hybrid driving definitely has some subtleties to it!

3 year old Mercedes EQS for $34K. I'd bite if I found one at that price.
As far as whether I'll keep it or not, that is the $64 question. Because my wife doesn't read these forum posts, I can tell you that I've been seriously considering making a change in the next 6 months or so. Not that there's anything wrong with the car, but because I think it's time for something new - and, likely, at my age, to be the last car we get (gasp!). I'd like to pay cash for this one, using my retirement funds along with the trade value.
But, I struggle with what to get and how much to spend. Today, I think the budget is about $40K-ish - $10K in trade and $30K in cash. Lots of nice cars in and around that price point.
I'm pretty sure I'd go hybrid, and I'm a sucker for sedans, so I've been eyeing the Accord, Sonata, or Camry Hybrids. The Camry is available with AWD, but that's not a deal breaker. I'd prefer something other than a black interior, and each model has an alternative color - grey for the Honda, a rich brown for the Sonata, and red for the Camry.
If, however, the wife wants an SUV, then the options change - still a hybrid, but I'm now thinking CR-V, CX-50, or Tucson.
I'd also consider a used 5-series, though my budget would limit me to the 530i or 530e (PHEV).
I'm sure you all would have plenty of other recommendations, so offer 'em up! Not likely to get a 3rd car at this point - like @stickguy has mentioned, it would have to live outside, and I don't see the logic of spending more on insurance to have two cars that would get driven about 10,000 miles a year between the two of them.

I’m in the same boat. I want something different. But no real clue what. I also have not shopped in 5 years so have not seen many options in person. Need to get the wife out to a few dealers! She loves that.
Even if I had a 3rd garage bay a 3rd car now would barely get used. Maybe when I retire and have more free time!
Probably the most logical plan for us (just hard to find the pieces) is replace my truck with a sporty car and a beater truck. Then use her car when we need to travel. Alternative plan is lease a truck and getting a cheaper toy. A lease can sit outside and get tree crap on it and I won’t care! Probably just need to find the first domino and go from there.

My second suggestion, if you can't sell your wife on a fun-to-drive sedan, would be a Subaru Forester Hybrid Premium, which has an msrp of $38k
A year or so ago Chevy had a good lease deal on the Silverado. Somewhere mid to upper 300's if memory serves. Well equipped, 4x4. It was the turbo 4 which caused consternation for some hardline truck guys.
Maybe they will bring that back? Seems like it was in the late summer/early fall time.

I do like the Passport a whole lot, and the Ridgeline for that matter, and I like that they both come with a good old fashioned V6 in them. The Ridgeline can be had for $40K-ish, but the Passport is creeping up to the $50K level in the trim I like (Trailsport). Perhaps another look at other trim levels - and interior colors - is warranted.
Not certain I'd want another Outback. Been there, done that with Subaru - and, I've read that the latest iteration of their infotainment system is a bit buggy.
Last year Lexus ES. Hybrid or V6, the choice is yours.
I have always had a soft spot for the ES. I'll have to do some research on pricing for some that are a few years old with 25-40K on the odometer.
My first suggestion would be to try to sell your spouse on an AWD Camry hybrid in the luxury XLE level. Your Colorado climate, and the fact that you're both used to AWD, makes that $1500 AWD option on the Camry a good idea from my pov. If you skip the other options that would mean an msrp of about $37k
My second suggestion, if you can't sell your wife on a fun-to-drive sedan, would be a Subaru Forester Hybrid Premium, which has an msrp of $38k
I do like the fact that the Camry is available with AWD - it seems like my plan to move somewhere warmer is a non-starter with the wife. Of the cars I've mentioned, I'm looking at the top trim level - spoil myself. For the Camry, that would be the XSE trim, which stickers at about $42K equipped the way I want.
I've looked briefly at the Forester hybrid, and am intrigued by it - Sarah 'n' Tuned had a review of one recently, and she really liked it, because it's the rare hybrid that isn't paired with a CVT. Not sure about the size, compared to the other SUVs I'm considering.

The Outback infotainment's main flaw is this—it takes almost a minute after start up to become fully functional. Seems like the processor is spooling up or whatever, but after that it works well. We like the wireless AndroidAuto/CarPlay, which is really nice, and the very large map for navigation is the best we've had in a car.
As you say, the totally loaded Camry XSE with every option lists for $42k. What color combination do you like? It's a bit over-the-top, but I like the red leather interior that's available.
As we all know, it's challenging to get a discount from msrp on a Toyota these days, but the CarEdge buying service seems to be able to negotiate discounts of $1500 or so on high-end Camrys. A year ago when I did some preliminary negotiation on a Camry LE my polite request for a discount was dismissed as unrealistic. Many Toyotas are sold before they hit the lots at full price or even above. The reality is that Toyota's factories can't keep up with demand in the US, and prices reflect that.

I’m definitely looking for something with a non black interior- for the Camry, that would be the red. I like the white, but not really sure about the contrasting black roof.
I’ve done only cursory research on this, at the moment. I’m in no rush, and if this does turn out to be our last purchase, I want to get it right.
@stickguy - yes, the Ridgeline has $5k of lease incentives, so I’d have to model a payment, perhaps with the intention of buying it out.

The tire size for my 2018 TLX 4-cylinder is 225/55/17. 5.5 cm of sidewall gives a cushier ride while still being sporty, if you have good Michelin tires or similar. 4 CC2 tires are $912.
The Camry's LE size is 205/65/16. Hmmm. That 6.5 cm sidewall will certainly give a comfortable ride, and the narrow tire improves mpg to over 50, but at the sacrifice of some handling and grip. 4 CC2s $824.
The Camry's XLE's size is 235/45/18. Still a rather thin sidewall, and so not exactly a comfortable tire, but better than the XSE from my pov. $972 for CC2s at Costco.
If I were getting a Camry I might be tempted by the LE to get the mpg and comfort. But in the end I'd probably want the XLE to get the near-Lexus levels of luxury. But I'd probably skip the pano sunroof etc. to keep the msrp at $35k.
Yes, the "floor" of our workspace is rather muddy due to heavy rains all day yesterday. We needed it, though; the nearby fires are growing rather large, and the resulting smoke is getting more than tedious!
White seats can be a challenge to keep looking pristine. I've had two cars with white interiors. I find that I wipe down the light gray driver's seat in the Arteon weekly with leather cleaner.

Battery limitations for the Camry makes sense.
Regarding tifighter's Montero, there is a bidder that tops the high bid every time a new one is made by someone else.
This could get interesting. Too bad I'm going to miss the end of the auction.
I’m sure @tifighter would like to find that guy. Probably even throw in a lunch.

40 is a percentage of the width of that tire
235/40 = 94 millimeter of sidewall
205/65 = 133.25 millimeter of sidewall
225/55 = 123.75 millimeter of sidewall
It's entirely width X percentage. The diameter of the wheel measurement has no effect.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

It’s funny I’ve had my share of light colored leather interiors and some were worse than others. Usually the biggest issue was the blue jeans dye rubbing off. Lexol always took it right off with little effort.

Bradd, I considered a ridgeline lease a few times when the nice model was about $400 sign and drive. Still too nice to park outside. Now if my wife wanted to drive it, different story because that could replace her car and my truck! She just wants something smaller if trading away her car.
Michael, not meaning to be a shill, but take a look at a maverick hybrid lariat AWD. Because why not!
2020 Acura RDX tech SH-AWD, 2023 Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury package.
As for the car itself, it seems a mixture of good things and some not so good. The styling is pretty safe, as it looks a lot like every other Mazda CUV/SUV and not dramatically different than the current model (but better, IMO). The best thing is that it is about 5" longer and a bit wider, with about half of that increase going towards rear seat legroom which was badly needed, and the rest to the cargo area, also useful. The other big news is that they are abandoning the dial controller for the infotainment and going to a large (12" or 15" depending on trim level) touch screen based on Toyota tech. Mazda fanboys are in shambles over that news.
Mechanically aside from the TBD hybrid the engine (at least at introduction) is the same N.A. 2.5L 4-banger used in most Mazdas, with no turbo version available this time. They mention a new Skyactiv-Z engine coming later but offered no details. Unfortunately they are continuing to use their old 6-speed automatic transmission that they have had forever, which is a bit disappointing. I expect they will upgrade that sooner rather than later.
Nobody has driven it yet to do a review so all we have are images and details found in the press package. It is supposed to be on these shores around year-end. Here is the relentlessly positive Motormouth couple's take:
And another from a German reviewer I like, where they get an even smaller engine that makes it sloooow:
