This is a 2011 AWD Touring with leather, Bose, moonroof and powerlift?
The 31,500 OTD did not include 0% financing, correct?
Thank you for your help.
Sounds like an excellent price to me. I've been researching the hell out of the Touring with bose, moonroof, powerlift and the standard price seems to be $30,500 + TTT. The added options would be about $4,000 more for the GT. These are prices without finance incentive. Therefore I say you have a good deal. I've only seen the base sport come in at a price like that, but I'm no expert.
Even for a FWD Grand Touring with no options, $28k is a killer deal!!!
Just last weekend, I helped my neighbors negotiate the purchase of a 2011 CX-9 Touring FWD (with Bose/Moonroof & Power Liftgate). It stickered for $34,9xx and they initially wouldn't go below $29,500. I finally got them down to $28,300 (plus tax, tag & title). I also got them to include the Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror with Rear-View Camera Display at the negotiated price, but retail on it is $665.
So far, they are loving it. It replaced a 2008 Lexus RX350 that they just turned in at the end of a 3-year lease. They actually like the Mazda better than the Lexus!
BTW, what color is your GT? My neighbors wanted Dolphin Gray with Sand Leather, but all of the Dolphin Gray models in Atlanta had Black Leather instead. They ended up going with Stormy Blue and Sand Leather.
After a lot of negotiation and some serious stressing, we ended up in
a 2011 GT AWD with NAV, Powerliftgate, and RES.
Sticker price was $40,650
Paid $34,250 (less TTL) with 0% for 60 months.
Also was able to add a MEPP extended warranty (72 month, 75k) for $1200.
Is this a good deal ? Should I bargain further ?
Mine had same options.
2011 Mazda CX9 Touring AWD
Liquid Silver w/black interior
Carpet floor mats
Roof Rack
Moonroof wind deflector
6CD w/display audio Pkg (includes rear-view camera)
Power Liftgate Pkg
Moonroof/Bose Pkg
MSRP $36,362.00
OTD including TT+Fees = $31,815.29
I guess the 2011 may be around 2K less. Going to buy a GT for a friend will post abt it later.
Basics (Zoooom Zoooom)
Acura MDX vs Mazda CX-9

1- What is RES?
2- The 34,250 included the title and registration? What was the actual price for the vehicle.
We're looking to buy this week and would love to go in armed with that information. By the way, what is your general geography. We're in the North East.
Thanks
That price was before TTL but with the 0%
The best deal would be anything under 34K
Does the AWD that bad. ??
35900 for CX9 GT with RES ...
Whats TTT.
0% is the only one other than a nice SUV pushing towards this. If there is very little 2012 AWD, then what would be a 2011 GT cost with RES - 2K less than 2012?
For a 34500 car TTT would be like, Tax = 2129,Tag=450(for a new tag otherwise 200 approx), Dealer Fee=795. Once you enter into the finance dpt expect about $200 for something called a stamp fee(i guess). Do not subscribe to any package they offer(GAP insurance,Extended Warrenty, blah blah ).
I haven't confirmed but thats the impression I got speaking with dealers about 2011. A 2K less. Look, I could'nt find a 2012 Touring with tech pack under 30K (0%APR) but I was offered 28K for the same car of 2011 model.
Yes, sure its a nice SUV. But one thing you might want to know in advance; the Boss is not something you would be boasting about your CX9.
My final offer for $29,500 OTD was rejected and I walked out.
Any thoughts about demo cars? Is 4000+ miles still considered a "new car"?? It is almost like a certified used car at this point IMHO.....
I would have asked them for another $1500 of discount.
Alternatively, find out what a lease company charges for overages on a 36-48 month lease ($.30?) and demand that as a discount ($1200).
Thanks in advance.
However, I do not blindly recommend every salesperson over there.
Still, do your the email cross-shopping routine. Find the best price.
If you have a trade-in, factor that in at the same time.
For post-purchase services, I highly recommend OakTree. I live in Fremont, but
I go there for services. That says it all.
