Re: I spotted an (insert obscure car name here) classic car today!
I actually kind of like the 610 hardtop and other period Japanese hardtops, and the B210 and 200SX while odd have a goofy charm to me. The F10 is a bit bizarre, but maybe courageous? I've always looked at those things in a positive-ish light, maybe as they didn't dissolve here (rather, their interiors and paint went).
I know I have mentioned it before, when I was a little kid I really liked the B210 fastback for its styling and the honeycomb hubcaps. I learned a co-worker/friend of my dad had one, and I got a ride in it. I recall being a bit underwhelmed even at that age.
On the disco car thought, the stacked light Montes especially fit that IMO. 77-79 Birds and Cougars are also big disco cars, and a rich disco car is a Mark V or MB SLC.

Happens all the time. They've already made their mind up and just want validation.I'm batting .750 with my sisters family.
My BIL is very brand and image conscious, so the idea of him getting a loaded Camry hybrid wasn't going to fly with him - hence, the need to lease the BMW i5.
But, I found their XC40 that they now have, and two of my nephews followed my advice and found cars that suit them well - the Kia Forte GT-Line and the new (to him) Accord Hybrid Sport.
I still have one nephew who may need a new (or newer) car in the near future - here's hoping he listens to me, as well.

Try the track pad for a few days. You might be surprised how much you like it....maybe save a nickel or two instead of buying a mouse.
I’ve been using laptops forever and still hate the trackpad except for a quick task or two. Having a touchscreen certainly helps too… but generally I always have a wireless mouse with me.

Always thought early'70's Colts looked kinda nice; especially the two-door that looked like a hardtop (don't know if it actually was or not). That had me curious to look, as it's been ages since I've seen one of those Colts. But yep, true fully functional hardtop, with roll-down rear windows!

Re: Edmunds Members - Cars and Conversations
I have very little experience with dealers up here in the 3 years I have been here. the Acura dealer is very nice for service, but never talked to a sales guy. Ford, they are nice in the service department but not very efficient. Also have not talked to a sales person. I did test drive a Honda and that dealer was good to deal with, and shopped (for my in laws) a different Honda dealer where the internet person was great.
I took my daughter's Mazda for service. no sales interface there also.
and that I think is all my experience.

Re: Edmunds Members - Cars and Conversations
My older brother decided to stop driving so I phoned his Hyundai dealer and asked what they'd give me approx for an 8 year old Accent with low mileage. They said it should be worth about $6400.
I drove it there and that was not fun, it was flimsy and loose, steering was like a toy car at the grocery store, not much of a suspension system. They walked around the car and took off $100 for a ding, $200 for a scratch....etc, and came up with $4000. I wanted to take it to some indies I checked but my brother just wanted it sold.
It was about the 25th of the month and they told me they didn't want any money going out of the dealership until after the 1st of the next month....come back then and they'd have a check all ready for us, and they would give us a ride home....about 10 miles.
We arrived on the 1st, of course the check wasn't ready as promised and we had to wait. They didn't have a ride back organized so they had to get some newbie sales guy to take us back, and that guy wasn't too happy about doing it......he drove like a maniac.
I needed a shower when I got home....both times.
Glad I am treated like a human being at my MB dealership.
