Scooter had a cyst removed from her rump a couple years ago. She constantly licked at it and made it look raw. As soon as it was gone, she stopped messing with it at all. I put a donut collar on her when I was gone, but she got her freedom when I was in the house.

Not sure I mentioned, but I’ve been chasing the emissions leak on the Maser for a long darn time. I replaced all of the EGR pieces and ran a smoke test. Couldn’t find the darned leak and still had a stumble off idle under load. Oh and gas cap was holding pressure. After studying the overly complicated gas cap for a bit, I decided I really had nothing left but to replace that. It cost $90 on eBay. Well, I can report that the stumble seems to be gone now. I’ve cleared all the lights on the dash, including TPMS since I replaced all the sensors, too. Fingers crossed, arms crossed, and toes crossed that the CEL stays out, at least until something new happens.

In case you are wondering, the gas cap has a valve built in. So the gasket can hold tight but if that valve is bad, I assume that’s a problem.

I am very familiar with the cone. A miserable experience for all. Recently one of our dogs had to have a toe removed because of cancer. When I could I sit in the den and have the dog in my view, I would take the cone off for relief and called it the “No cone zone”. Hope your pup heals quickly.

We babysat the granddog last night.
First time I noticed she doesn't have a backbone.

We have a rule. We refuse to waste money buying each other cards. Occasionally I get an old one given again (she saves them) since I won’t remember. But normally we go to the card aisle. Find what we like, hand it to the other to read and laugh at, then we put it back and go home.
