EAG has some very nice cars, but you definitely pay for your thrills.

I know some of the people who work there. They bought some of their "wares" to a car show yesterday in Glendale, OH. Small show (relatively) but all high quality iron. They keep wanting me to jump back into the BMW waters. I get tempted........OFTEN!

I had the "man" trim the shrubs and refresh the pine needles. Looks better, wallet lighter.

Frankly, just judging from the titles in his video library, he appears to be a clickbait artist. He starts from a faulty premise, namely that automakers should produce everything themselves. I guess he is too young to remember how GM got started, when Billy Durant bought up companies making parts for everyone. As GM volumes declined in the '80s and '90s they no longer had the volume to invest in those enterprises and shed them. He seems to love Toyotas, but I guess he has never looked under the hoods of them to see where their parts are sourced.

Thanks. My brain is full of minutiae like that. I didn't play sports, and didn't have a girlfriend, so absorbed brochure info, at least on cars I liked, like a sponge.

On a different subject, on FB someone posted a lime green '76 Vega Kammback that looked new in every respect. I still like the looks, and the reliability was WAY improved by that time. Someone posted under it, flatly, "Not a Kammback. Those were the panel trucks. This is a station wagon".

I replied, "Wrong. Kammback is the wagon. The panel was the 'Panel Express'. Easily verifiable by the brochures online".

His response: "Nope".

A few people 'liked' my comment.

I wished to reply to his "nope", "Dope", but I didn't.

Man, car stupidity on Facebook is rampant.
