Hmm - VW programs are set to expire on Friday. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they were extended through next Monday.
Unless you plan on pulling the trigger this weekend, new programs are likely to be released on Tuesday next week.
I definitely don’t plan on pulling the trigger this weekend. Just looking at the program on VW’s website (which I know doesn’t mean much), it seems like the more expensive SE is cheaper to lease than the Base S model.
The SE has lower money factors. Even if it's not actually cheaper, it should be very close, and worth upgrading.

“ The Sierra would look good in orange. That’s ALOT to wrap, though.”Speaking of which, how’s the rust repair job coming on that one?
I haven’t been documenting it because, frankly, it hasn’t been as smooth as I hoped. But the harder parts are done. I’ve completed the welding and am in paint mode now.

Re: 2024 Porsche (All Models) Lease Deals, Incentives, Rebates, and Prices
Sorry to ask again but just wanted to double check the numbers given that I'm getting something different from dealer. While I am in WA, Dealer is in CA just in case that makes a difference.Porsche numbers are national.
2024 Cross Turismo S
My understanding based on prior posts here:
MF=.0035 less .00045 if one pay, meaning .0031
RV=66%
Dealer is indicating:
MF=.00330
RV=60%
Thank you again
If you have top tier credit, then the dealer is marking up the rate on you for extra profit. Most Porsche dealers try to do this.
And, .00350 less .00045 is .00305.

Since you’re talking about wrapping (not that kind but I think we all know what kind you mean), I take it that you’re comfortable doing that and that wrapping an older car probably doesn’t kill it’s resale value very much if at all compared to a faded/scratched paint job.I’ve never heard anyone ask this so I will. How do you maintain the appearance of a wrapped car? Just wash or wash and use a potion of some kind? And one more question, if properly maintained how long does a wrap job last?

I’ve done it on 3 different vehicles now. It definitely isn’t easy, BUT, I was using very heavy wrap. I have watched several “pro” videos and it appears thin wraps are far easier. I may try that next time.
As for upkeep, I haven’t had any of them very long so I don’t know how they hold up. My experience thus far with cleaning has been just wiping it off. It is vinyl, so nothing seems to stick to it. Again, my experience is very limited.

Re: 2025 Audi Q5 Lease Deals, Incentives, Rebates, and Prices

36 & 39 months
12k miles per year
11233 zip codeThank you!

There will be an RV adjustment for the existing miles, but we don't know how Audi manages that. Negotiate a bigger discount to offset that.

Re: Mystery car pix
I believe the attractive mystery car is a Reliant Scimitar from around the date of the image (was hoping @magnette would chime inAh-ha, you are correct, sir! This is a shot of a 1967 model.)

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
Yep - on my '16 Jetta SE lease, I paid a total of $50 in interest for 3 years (.00005 MF, IIRC).@stickguy said:
the $225/month sign and drive on the Jetta sport my daughter had for 3 years in college was a steal of a deal.That would be more than a no brainer, especially in this market. I’m sure back then the money factor was close to zero. Right now, so many leases on ICE vehicles have 6%ish money factors. Even with an extremely healthy discount, I don’t know how plausible a cheap Jetta lease would be.
Also in the $225/mo range.

@nyccarguy Have you considered a Jetta? I don’t know how they lease and understand they discount. I have driven two in the past few months. I had a 25 SE to drive yesterday as a loaner as the Arteon was being serviced. The Jetta is roomy, has all the safety nannies, drives great, comfortable, quick, 8 speed aisin (Toyota based) automatic. I wasn’t even trying and got 44 mpg on both legs of my 40 mile commute. I would post pics, but cannot sign in from my phone. sighIt’s a great idea. Is it the 1.4 L Turbo 4 cylinder that still powers the Jetta? It packs a lot of size, tech, & safety features into a very competitive sticker price. I’m afraid to go on the Jetta leasing questions and ask @Michaell or @kyfdx as I think I’ve asked enough of them in the past couple of days. At this point I might as well wait until the March programs come out.

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
No, I plan to just wait it out for the new GTI's to debut & go give one a test drive. And we'll go from there. Been keeping mileage records since 12/3/19 when I started my gig at Enterprise and I'm averaging maybe 1K miles every 3.5 months, give or take. Drive under 10 miles round trip to work and on my n/s days like today, maybe go 5 or so. Many times when I'm off, don't even leave the house especially when I have vittles in the house & have nowhere to be. Have no issues hanging out at home like some folks. Have slowly been starting to get rid of stuff as I truly think sometime in late 2027, we'll be moving closer to the girls. My health isn't getting any better & am seriously thinking about either cutting back or leaving Enterprise altogether. It's just getting more & more difficult to get up & go in!
