Re: Edmunds Members - Cars and Conversations
Found this at one of them yesterday.

It was sitting in a booth behind some old school desks. It was dusty and had a few light scratches on the back, but looked in great shape. The person who "owned" the booth was there rearranging his display. When I spied the subwoofer, it looked in great shape. I asked if I could inspect it, and he said to "be my guest". Had to move the school desks to see it. But, I immediately recognized the brand as SVS. Those who are into the AV hobby know the company and know it's well respected. And, after a quick lookup on my phone, it was this model....https://www.svsound.com/products/sb-3000
He didn't know if it worked and said he got it as part of a bigger estate buy he did a few months ago. Asked what he wanted for it, and he said he was tired of moving it around. It weighs ~60 lbs, probably? He didn't have the power cord for it so I couldn't test it. He said to make an offer.
Not knowing if it worked but looked in excellent condition, I offered him $50. He took it for no other reason than he was tired of moving it around.
Know what? Got it home, dug into my power cord collection (which is extensive), plugged it in. It works. Not only does it work, it works to the point where I pulled another of my trusty subwoofers out of my hometheater system and replaced it with this one.

I always felt that there was something just not right with leasing a used car but that’s just me. How do those lease rates compare with the new Sentra lease? Putting $3k+ down would turn me off.I would be less concerned with Honda CVTs than Nissan but even a Nissan should make it through the lease period.
I wouldn’t lease a used Honda. The payment to buy it is reasonable with low-ish interest for 48 months. Then I look and say to myself, do I really want to finance a 2020 car which is already 5 years old for another 4 years? The answer is no.
I think the Nissan CVT will last the life of the lease as well.
Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
I only use Anker or Monoprice phone cables. I kept one at BMW when I worked there to isolate problems with phone charging or other issues.PSA to be careful with cheap knock off cables and chargers. Some can damage your phone.

You make your own wine? That’s impressive. Who jumps up and down on the grapes?😅 I could send you one Bully Hill bottle a week if that would help. Unfortunately they went to plastic corks years ago.
We aren’t that hard core. We buy the grape must already processed. We add the yeast and monitor the fermentation. Rack it a few times and bottle it.
It comes in 6 gallon pails from either Italy or CA. When you get it the grapes are already starting to ferment and then go crazy when you add the yeast
