A Mini EV does sound like fun. What are lease rates like on those?
Re: Edmunds Members - Cars and Conversations
Too difficult for some people to handle.Interestingly, I just read an article that Keurig machines are the most returned items at Costco!Easier to buy a Keurig. If I ever upgrade coffee makers, it would need to be one that grinds the coffee, fills the reservoir, puts the coffee in the filter, dispenses the coffee, and then self-cleans the filter.
I checked, clothing is #1, followed by Dyson vacuums and Keurigs but I have no idea why, they sure sell well and there are lots of companies making Keurig pods...they may get returned in big numbers but they also sell in big numbers.
One explanation, Keurig's need cleaning once in a while, some people take them back if they need a cleaning, and Costco takes them back.......probably an agreement with the maker.

Check back in 90 or 180 days and see what she has to say, then.A good friend of my wife’s just traded her 2015 ish Tahoe for a Range Rover. Her statement blew my mind. “The Tahoe was becoming unreliable and I wanted something new and trouble free”.
FWIW the Tahoe was ridden hard and put away wet but still …..
I didn’t say a word, just congratulated her

That picture brings back memories of the infamous Connecticut Woodchipper case and of course the movie Fargo.
Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
I really thought I would zero in on a Macan, but then I was reading that the PDK in the Macan may not be a PDK. There is a great deal on conflicting info on this. I read in a couple of places they believe it to be a DSG, which would rule that vehicle out for me. The reason this even came up is because there is a Macan for sale, traded into a Porsche dealer, where it has a bad trans temp sensor and they would rather sell it as is than fix it, so it got me researching.

Wanting one is fine if it is his dream. But there must be other ones out there.
Though maybe it’s better to get the new engine already installed so he won’t have to worry about doing it himself. Maybe.

Re: Real-World Trade-In Values
Looked like that did a whole bunch of interim parts replacements on the bad engine before finally giving up. That was a waste of money.
also reported a 29,000 mile oil change interval, unless the owner had one done at a different dealer in the middle. Also seems to indicate that the absurd OCI recommendation of 15K is too long if chains are subject to stretching.
