Since you’re talking about wrapping (not that kind but I think we all know what kind you mean), I take it that you’re comfortable doing that and that wrapping an older car probably doesn’t kill it’s resale value very much if at all compared to a faded/scratched paint job.I’ve never heard anyone ask this so I will. How do you maintain the appearance of a wrapped car? Just wash or wash and use a potion of some kind? And one more question, if properly maintained how long does a wrap job last?

I’ve done it on 3 different vehicles now. It definitely isn’t easy, BUT, I was using very heavy wrap. I have watched several “pro” videos and it appears thin wraps are far easier. I may try that next time.
As for upkeep, I haven’t had any of them very long so I don’t know how they hold up. My experience thus far with cleaning has been just wiping it off. It is vinyl, so nothing seems to stick to it. Again, my experience is very limited.
Thanks for the feedback.
It sounds like you’re torturing yourself going with the heavy stuff. I’ve also watched a couple videos about doing a wrap job. Since they’re pros it doesn’t look hard but I’m sure it is.
I wonder how many miles of that stuff you have to apply to become good at it. I know one thing, I don’t wanna find out.

If you have an orange vehicle, does it need an appropriate amount of orange peel in the application?

Never have heard of Amazon driver's asking for assistance. Interesting.@roadburner said:
Nice! In 2003 I had my VTF-3R delivered to my office; the shipping weight was 93 pounds and it was a bear to load into my old Wrangler. At least I bought it during a free shipping promotion...I’m sure I told this before … but the Amazon driver couldn’t get the Klipsch 15” sub I bought off the truck without help. I actually got a message “your Amazon driver needs your assistance”. I was on a work call and had to drop for a minute to assist.
My Klipsch Fortes in my 2-channel system were actually delivered on a pallet. Trying to remember who the carrier was. But, it came as part of a semi delivery (DHL...maybe?). The driver said he was only supposed to deliver it to the driveway. He was a sphincter about it as he used a freight/floor jack to move it on to the truck's power ramp. But, he wouldn't use the jack to at least get the pallet to my garage. I even offered him a $20 bill for 3 mins of him rolling a jack. Nope!
I unpacked everything at the curb of my street and carried the speakers in with the help of a neighbor.
If there were any karma in the whole deal, I live on a small cul-de-sac. Him trying to turn a semi around on the cul-de-sac was a lengthy and comical sight.

Great job.
I saw 58 on the way to Walmart.
Today felt like heaven.

————————————————Dad used it as a truck - he did woodworking on the side, and was constantly getting plywood and 2x4s, 2x6s, and 2x8s for various projects. When he worked on job sites, he hauled his tools in the back.Nothing wrong with an orange GM pickup:————————————————
Or a real pickup with an 8 foot bed. Albeit with the loss of 2 doors.

Also towed a bass boat for a number of years.
Imagine that, a truck being used as a truck vs. schlepping groceries. They don’t make guys like that anymore.
