Which dealer supplied this quote? I've been cross shopping Odyssey/T&C/Sienna and am looking for good Sienna quotes. The package process makes cross shopping different dealers much more complicated than for Odysseys.

    Hi
I'm close to finalizing a deal on the Sienna XLE Pkg 1(EVP1). So far the best price I have got is $28000 Plus TTL in the Bay Area (without the $1000 rebate, since I want the 1.9% for 60 months financing). Is this a good price. If anybody got a better quote, can you please let me know ??
    Thanks

I just closed the deal on my Sienna XLE at Fitzgerald Automall in Gaithersburg, MD this Saturday. We bought a silver XLE with Option Package #1, Fog Lamp Package, 17" alloy wheels and floor mats for $26,401 (includes the $1000 rebate). We are very happy with this price, and enjoyed dealing with the internet sales team at Fitzgerald. We ended up with this price after getting a quote from DARCARs, and having Fitzgerald use their "we beat lowest quoted price by 150%" policy to get them down to the $26,401 price. I hope others can use this information to get a similar deal at their dealers. Good luck!

Was wondering if memory seats and electrochromic mirros are part of EVP #4 in Siennce XLE. If not, can they be ordered along with EVP #4? What's the pricing?
  • laptomlaptom Member Posts: 3
Hi! I'm also in the market for the XLE. If you haven't purchase maybe we can buy them at the same time and save even more. You can email me at laptom1@yahoo.com. Thanks!

$26,200 OTD (including 6% tax), 8 seats, #2, and the alloys on the LE. They will also put the aftermarket leather in (it's included in the price.) Signing papers in a day or two. Should I do it?

It comes with no mats - are there any good options out there or should I spend $200+ on the factory ones?
  • yz666yz666 Member Posts: 1
Did your price of $26,401 include the destination charge of $685? Thanks.
  • tomfoolery1tomfoolery1 Member Posts: 4
The only items not included in the $26,401 price were the tax, tags and $99 MD state processing fee. All other fees were included in this price.
  • sukh1sukh1 Member Posts: 3
I thank all the members in guiding my purchase.
2008 Limited Edition with option#2 (basically has everything possible) before taxes/lic $35500, dealer slapped on junk fees of about $300+ on top of that (Las Vegas , NV). Still a decent deal in my estimation since did not have to haggle (did it over the phone).
Got extended care toyota factory warranty platinum 7 yrs 100000 miles for $880 from Toyota of Greenfield, local dealer wanted $1895.
I had tried 3 other local dealers, no one was coming in below $37000 for the van.

The car rocks! My wife was skeptical of buying a mini-van, but after spending half hr. in this car, she is very impressed...... to the point of showing our friends all the features it has. Tickles me to no end.

Do you know the invoice price on this. Was the cash back on top of the price paid ?

I am looking to buy a fully loaded Limited AWD (with QL, TO, RW and HX) and am getting it for $36,450 (about 600 below invoice price) and then the $1500 rebate on top of that...making the price 34,950. Is that a good deal ?

Two different dealers are offering the same car within + or - $100.
  • sukh1sukh1 Member Posts: 3
    Newbuy,
That is a great deal for AWD. I went with 36 month 0% APR, saving me almost $3000 as opposed to upfront rebate.

Had one dealer quote me $34,900 for the limited with everything in Minnesota.

Have you closed a deal yet?
I'm looking for the same product, Sienna XLE + option combo 1(AW+FE+LF+QG), in the same region (Bay area).
The best quote I got from a few dealerships is a little higher than your quote.
Which dealership did you get the quote?
We may buy together to get a better deal.
Please contact me to lee_pedro@comcast.net if you're interested.
I need to buy a car by the end of this month.

Hello from Kansas. We are looking at purchasing an LE 7 psg with FE/AL/QF/CF/RL (emmissions, alloy wheels, value pkg #2, carpeted floor mats, running lights/deicer grid) with all weather mats and a 9.5" screen DVD (aftermarket, list $1165). We have a quote for $25,310 incl rebate.. Also, a trade-in for a 2000 Sienna LE 150k miles for $3k (KBB says trade-in of $4k but they won't budge). Total, $22,310. Would appreciate any comments, suggestions, etc. TY!

Toyota has 3500 customer cash back.
But no dealer seems to know about it or if they know (which I guess they do) want to talk about it.
    Here is the link
    http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/new-car-rebates-incentives.htm
    That says it all.
I have asked local dealer in bay area to give me invoice - this 3500 for Limited with EVP#2, HID+Cruz package.
    Havent gotten any reply.
Surpriginly websites that claim that they are best for car buying (cardirect, edmunds) dont seem to mention about this rebate.
See if you get that rebate. Let me know as I will be interested too.
  • cracoviancracovian Member Posts: 337
Check toyota.com for the most up-to-date incentive info (though edmunds is just as good.) There's a reason why a zip code is required before you get to this info. It's still $1,500 in my area but it will be interesting to see what happens in April. They sell very fast now that they're rated as a top van.

If anyone lives in Southern California and want a GREAT deal on a Toyota Sienna then you have to talk to the fleet manager at Toyota Irvine. I can not say enough about this guy! He is straight forward, honest and i was able to buy my van this weekend at 500.00 below invoice PLUS I got to take 1500.00 cash incentive after that! My van is gorgeous and he did not play games. I just called him on the phone and had my quote in 10 minutes....NO GAMES!

I live in San Diego and the 1.5 hour drive was totally worth it!

DCH Bruswick Toyota in NJ agreeing on invoice price for XLE EVEP#4. Does any one know whethere Toyota extended 0% apr?
    Thanks
  • wyang76wyang76 Member Posts: 6
    Elliette,

That sounds like a good deal. Were you able to get the special APR finance options on top of that?

Also, can dealers offer 0% for 5 years or is that something impossible because it's a Toyota Corp. special?

    thanks!

I would also like to know if Toyota extended 0% financing. I don't see that on their website!
  • cracoviancracovian Member Posts: 337
I never thought I'd do this but it was not explained to me correctly and I thought it was a great deal at the time, so I bit it but I'm now having some second thoughts...

I got my new Sienna LE for $26K OTD and added bumper to bumper warranty that covers the van for 7 years/100K miles for $2K.

You get your money back in 7 years but ONLY if no claims are made. I'd expect the CD changer, possibly the AC or the door mechanism to brake but nothing else that's major and exceeding 2K. Does the warranty still sound attractive or should I get my money back (minus $50  )? I'm leaning towards tha latter...
  • ellietteelliette Member Posts: 7
I would get your money back but I am not a big believer in extended warranties unless you have a lemon product that you expect to break down. Toyota is an amazing brand and very rarely does anything go wrong. You have a pretty good warranty without buying the extended one and would it ever cost you 2000.00 to fix the cd player? Doubtful. I would get my money back but this is just me....
  • cracoviancracovian Member Posts: 337
It sounded good but I should have read or they should have told me that the "catch" to getting your money back was a claimless record. I'm really upset with them but mostly with my myself for not catching that. That really spoiled my experience and this will go on their record for sure.

Hi everyone... I am currently shopping for a Sienna XLE FWD with option package #3 (DVD entertainment package), preferably Mirage Blue color. The best price I received so far was $29,034 from fitzmall.com Has anyone in the Baltimore/DC area received a better deal? Please let me know. We wanted to purchase within the next two weeks or so.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
Fitz is a great dealership, BTW.

Ask DARCARS in Rockville for an e-price.

I found out (later) that Fitz will even match their e-prices if they're lower. You have nothing to lose and can do this from your desk.

3rd option: CARMAX Toyota. Ask for a quote from them as well. I didn't, but I found out after my purchase that you could get quotes from them easily as well.
  • sukh1sukh1 Member Posts: 3
I woud say cancel the current extende warranty and buy one from other dealer (for as little as $880, as I did).
Forum rules do not allow me to post name/phone number, you google it and you will find this great dude in New England. I had a great experience. Good luck.

  • cracoviancracovian Member Posts: 337
Sukh - Thanks for the info! I might have also found it on the Sienna club Web site today. Is this a Toyota-backed warranty or some third-party one that can go bankrupt within the next 7 years? If it's backed by Toyota, would you say that the only difference (aside from price) is that it's not "money back at the end of the term" like the one I was conned into or does it also have that option?
  • ddchemistddchemist Member Posts: 7
I am looking for the same vehicle too. But my time frame will be in June or July. My previously shopping experience is that you can first go to Fitz and get a real price and then go to the other dealers (like 355 dealer). They will beat fitz undoultly. If you really want to buy it in fitz, you can come back and show them your lower quote. Usually, you can get your vehicle there with that price. I wish this would have some help. Also please let me know your final deal (where to buy or how much you pay)!

After soliciting a lot of prices from Seattle/Tacoma area dealers, I have settled on Doxon in Auburn. FYI I have received the following pricing from them:

    2008 Toyota Sienna XLE FWD
    Silver Shadow Pearl
    Gray Leather Interior
    17" Alloy Wheels w/PP225/60R17 Tires
Fog Lamps w/Daytime Running Lights and Windshield Wiper De-Icer Grid
    XLE EVP #2
    Tow Prep Package
    Carpet Floor Mats/Door Sill Protector
    Auto Dimming Mirror

    MSRP: $32,508
    Invoice: $29,482
    Your Price: $29,650
    Tax: 2757.45
    License: $184.25
    Documentation Fee: $50
    Subtotal: $32,641.17
    Less Rebate: $1500
    Total: $31,141.70

    or....

This one has 17" Alloy Wheels
    Fog Lite Package
    XLE Package #1
    Tow Package
    Carpet Floor Mats

    Invoice: $28,663
    Your Price: $28,963
    Tax: $2664.60
    License: $184.25
    Documentation Fee: $50
    Subtotal: $31,861.85
    Less Rebate: $1500
    Total: $30,361.85

I plan to finalize the deal tomorrow. Doxon was a little less expensive than competitors (including the Costco dealer). So far, I have found their internet sales person to be helpful, professional, and easy to get along with. Some of the other dealerships were a little difficult to deal with.
  • md_mdmd_md Member Posts: 3
thanks ddchemist. I just got a quote from 355 for $28,734 for the same vehicle. However, it doesn't look like I will be making a purchase until late July. If you purchase yours before me, please let me know how it turns out. I'll do the same.
  • fiufiu Member Posts: 25
FYI, I had a Toyota dealer at Seattle to agree to go down $500 under invoice plus incentive last month, but they didn't have the color in stock and need to wait one month to get it. Finally we go Pilot instead, I am thinking there may be still some room for you to negotiate.
  • bearcrkrdbearcrkrd Member Posts: 167
Doxon is also a good place to get the van serviced. They do not tack on the extras that Toyota does not call for. They are first rate! The parts department is very helpful, but also expensive. Do not know about the sales dept, but Doxon is surely on my list if I decide to buy another Toyota.
  • siennabuyer3siennabuyer3 Member Posts: 2
The dealer was kind enough to honor the quote.
  • ddchemistddchemist Member Posts: 7
Sure! Let's wait for a better deal in the coming summer.

After two Previas and one Sienna I plan to purchase another Sienna
I have visited the local (St. Louis ) web sites trying to find an 2008 AWD xle with EJ, DRL, TO, DH and QH {Extra Val pkg 2}. No luck. I can find Siennas with these features but they include other features that I do not want. I found a Dallas dealer web site that listed about 330 Siennas in the Search New Inventory list. Is there any way to seach Toyota Regions for a specific model without involving/ contacting a Toyota Dealer? I have tried Googling for web sites of different Toyota dealers in the midwest and it is a hit or miss prospect.
  • traviswalkentraviswalken Member Posts: 5
I just closed a deal on a Sienna in Washington State. My experience was that dealer websites were not very current. Additionally, in my area, Toyota is sending a lot of new Siennas that are currently in transport. The dealer I eventually decided to use was willing to give me the same deal ($300 over invoice plus free mats) no matter what vehicle I chose. They were able to locate a vehicle that is scheduled to arrive in 2 weeks.

Another option they offered was to sort of special order the vehicle. They were willing to honor original deal we had negotiated. The advantage to this method is that you can get exactly what you want. However, the down side is that it would have taken about 6-8 weeks to get the minivan. This was a problem because I am too impatient and the current incentives would not be applicable. The applicable incentives are calculated when you actually take possession of the vehicle.

    Hope that helps.

Oops, sorry I hit the "enter" button by accident before I had a chance to enter the text.

I just purchased a Sienna XLE from Fitzgerald Auto Mall. I paid $27,611 after opting for the 48 month 0.0% financing offered by Toyota. This price did not include title, tags, taxes, or their $99 service fee. The invoice price for the van was $28,417 and their listed Internet price was $27,417 which they lowered to match the Darcar price quote of $26,611 (which included Toyota's $1000 rebate). Overall, I was pleased with the buying experience at Fitzgerald, but I have a question about the add-ons they offered. Here's a list of the things I can have done to the van within the first 1000 miles:

    Rust Inhibitor - $179
    Undercoating - $159
Both of the Above - $299
    Paint Sealant - $159
    Interior Protection (leather) - $219
Total Mopar Protection, i.e. all of the above - $677

Are any or all of these add-ons worth the money? I intend to keep the van for its useful lifespan and I live in the mid-Atlantic region where salt is used on the roads in the winter and acid rain is an issue so the dealership felt I would benefit from some of these extra expenses.

Thanks for any insight you might offer!!

I'm also looking to purchase an xle in the very near future. I am a bit surprised since i was told by several dealers that i cannot get the $1000 rebate AND the 0% apr, did u actually receive both the rebate and the 0%?

also, what was the MSRP on the vehicle? what package #?
  • flyingdudeflyingdude Member Posts: 5
I had the option of choosing the $1000 rebate OR 0.0% financing - I opted for the latter.

The MSRP on the van was $31,319 and it came with the following option packages:

    (FE-M ) 50-STATE EMISSIONS
(QG ) XLE EVP 1 INCLUDES:
    - 2nd & 3rd row window sunshades, leather seat trim, heated front seats
(AW ) 17" ALLOY WHEELS INCLUDES:
    - P225/60R17 tires
    (LF ) FOG LAMPS INCLUDES:
    - windshield wiper de-icer, daytime running lights
(CF ) CARPET FLOOR MATS & DOOR SILL PROTECTOR (PPO)
