It looks to me like that wheel package was only able to be partially residualized. If you use $55,455 as the MSRP, then the 55% residual calculates exactly. Which means they valued the wheel package at $2500 MSRP for residual purposes.

With $1000 in fees added in, I get the same payment.
Those are all the base numbers, so if you like the selling price, then it's a good deal. I don't follow the actual pricing enough to know if that's a good price or not.

Just leased a 2014 Infiniti Q50 AWD Premium in Central NJ as follows. This is my 2nd lease from this dealer this year and they are so easy to deal with and offer great pricing (as you can tell by the below deal). Please reach out to me if you need a referral.

Quoted today in Atlanta: 2014 Q50 Premium w/Nav MSRP: 42505 Selling price (includes tax of 2623): 40991 2400 down Payment of 468/mo.
Seems like not a great deal.
What lease term and how many miles per year?
Georgia leases are going to look worse than other states because of the "Ad Valorem" tax of 6.75% of the entire selling price of the car. Does the $2400 up front cover those taxes or is it being used to reduce the selling price?
I would appreciate help with a lease quote I got this weekend from a central NJ dealer. MSRP of 50,955, term 39 month q50S awd with nav and deluxe touring. I get 1000 loyalty. (this would be 4th infiniti for me) We used a due on delivery of 3500 (which includes fees, taxes, and downpayment) to get 499.16/month lease. from what I read, I see I should minimize downpayment in a lease . The salesperson says he has 2 coupons he can use for me to lower by another $1000. (maybe dealer cash?)
I see dealer cash incentive of 1000 to 2500 (not sure which applies) based on edmunds info. Can you tell me the MF and residual value and whether you think the above is reasonable. I haven't negotiated a final selling price but want to know how much I can push. By the way this large dealer only had 3 more q50s awd with nav, deluxe on the lot and they said 2015 may start in october. Thanks for the help! Want to finalize tomorrow if possible.

The money factor is .00015 and residual is 52% for 39mo, 15K/yr. (you don't give the mileage allowance). It would help to know the selling price and the breakdown of the $3500.
Obviously, there is some more room, as the salesperson is already mentioning another $1000 off.
selling price on q50s awd with nav, deluxe is 47416. (msrp of 50855) MF is .00015 . residual is 27515. (that seems lower than 54%) ?Is this where they're trying to add profit? $3500 due on delivery which is 1496.17 in taxes, 589 for something else, acq fee of 700. doc of 349. bank tax 49. for a monthly cost $499. 39 month/12k/yr lease. I will try to squeeze a bit more out of selling price. I think it's a decent offer but there is loyalty incentive $1000 and dealer cash of 1000-2500 according to edmunds so it's not all coming out of their wallet.
Got them to drop to 479/month and drop cash on delivery to 3000. Also they took me out of november lease 2 months early. Guess that's good enough for me. Now let's hope there aren't any DAS or other bugs!

Here are the correct 39 month numbers ... I think he inverted the numbers for the base (65% instead of 56%):
39/10 - 56%/52%/52% for Base/Premium/Sport
Most manufacturers set the residual percentage for 15K miles per year and add 2% for 12K and 3% for 10K - we assume this is the same for Infiniti, though there is nothing in our documents to confirm it.
However, it must be noted that Nissan only adds 1% for 12K and 2% for 10K for leases on their cars. It's possible the same is true for Infiniti, though this is the first time a dealer has refuted the data we've provided to one of our posters.
Got this deal on a Q50 w/Nav, leather, all weather pkg, cargo pkg, illum. kick plates. MSRP $46,380 residual 54% mf .00015. Zero down (just 1st month and DMV due at signing) with tax of 8.625% worked into monthly payment. $422/month for 39/12K. I worked them hard and I think I got a very good deal. Added tint for $10/month for a total payment of $432/month. Picking car up this evening. Any thoughts?

2014 Q50 Premium - MSRP $40,905
selling price: 35,488 with taxes and fees (Georgia, 6.75% on full value): 38,638.46
They're quoting me residual value of 55% and MF of .00027, which brings payment to nearly $415.
Think I can do better? Read where there is $3K in dealer cash for leases this month, do you think they've included that here? Thanks for the help!
With your MSRP and net cap cost (including the "ad valorem" tax in GA), I get a payment of either $430.37/mo (for 39 months and 10K miles) or $464.86/mo (for 36 months and 12K miles).
It's possible the $3K in dealer cash is reflected in the $35,488 quote you got, but it doesn't hurt to ask if more can come off the price.
Is it possible to lease a preowned q50? I have reached out to a local dealer about this and am awaiting a response. I see some 2014 models that have 15k miles and are listed at 31k.
Anyone who has leased or has any suggestions on this type of deal, Id love to hear from you.

I'm sure you can lease them, but not sure there are any advantages to doing so. MF may be higher than on a new car, and the residuals are more guesswork than anything established by IFS.
Reason I ask is because I'm being quoted MF of .0009 for both Sport AWD non-Hybrid & Hybrid, which seems like a huge markup compared to what I've read here.

I know that there are up to $4000 in incentives this month; $3000 dealer incentive as well as $1000 incentive if you have owned an infiniti within 90 days which I have.
Is it normal to negotiate the CAP Cost down beyond the incentives? In other words, could I make an argument for the $3000 or $4000 off as well as a 5% to 7% discount of MSRP? The vehicle I am looking at is $53,160 MSRP

I would say that is a very strong deal for a $54K car.
Well, I'd first like to point out that whoever built this quote doesn't understand how sales tax for a lease is calculated in CA - the monthly payment only is taxed, not the value of the car.
So, the Balance Due should be decreased by the $2865.05, making it $36,144,75.
The 39 month, 15K residual is 52% for the Q50 RWD Premium, and the MF is .00027. When I plug in the updated cap cost and your MSRP, I get a pre-tax payment of $369.19 (this is with $0 down). As the residuals get larger with fewer miles per year, the payment will only decrease if you choose 12K or 10K miles per year ($347.36/mo pre-tax for 12K, and $336.45/mo pre-tax for 10K).
Sales tax is then applied to this pre-tax payment each month.
I think your dealer is inflating the MF on you for extra profit. Explain to them politely but firmly that you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Add 1% for 10K. Subtract 1% for Premium or Sport trim.

Yes, you should always negotiate your best price before applying any lease cash or other incentive money.

Q50a 2014
I was quoted, 39 month 15k miles a year.
3000 down, i unfortunately do not know what its being applied too.
And my monthly would be $369 a month. They did throw in the dent and ding protection which is included in that price.
I believe the msrp is 40,855
Is there any way i can get NAV too for arounfd389 a month?
Which trim level is this? Base, premium or sport?

39 month lease, cash due includes 1st month payment/taxes and monthly payments below include taxes.
Cash Due- 10K 12K 15K Miles -
$0- $408 $420 $444
$1,750- $359 $371 $395
$2,750- $333 $345 $369
